Back in the day, zarx used to post anime gifs every now and then. I'm not such an anime fan, but I like funny, surprising or weird gifs.

Therefore, from now on, I'll post some gifs of that style.

LMAO!

Where is this from xD?

No idea, but if it comes from a movie and it's all like that, I want to know it too.

Cool switching of roles in that gif!

BTW the third round is up, plus it seems there is another prize too with Dawn of War 2 (shame companies of heroes 2 didn't win).

After playing Cities Skylines this weekend (14h in 3 days), I can honestly say that the game is mostly what I thought it would be. The graphics are lovely, I don't know how many times I just put the cam at the street level only to see the dawn of a new day, and runs great (I was surprised by how good it looked and how snappy it felt as I'm far from the recommended specs), and it's easy to pick up if you've played SimCity before.

Because yes, the resemblances to SimCity are many, but it's also true that the game has its own style and twists that give it its own personality and makes you forget the EA game. And the money is only a problem during the very first stages of your city (I didn't build a big city, only 12-13k habitants, yet I managed to get $1million in the bank and an income of more than $15k/week, and that was in my second try).

Of course, there are some things here and there that could be better, like some of the menus (although I'm sure there are mods for that), but this oportunity to try the game has shattered any doubts I could have about getting the game. Now I just hope a Complete Edition launches soon.

You should download the First person mod, it lets you walk around your city .

I will!

That, and many other great mods.

Here are a couple of hardware news, as a warm up before the gaming news:

AMD Radeon M400 series to be released in April

http://videocardz.com/58323/amd-radeon-m400-series-to-be-released-in-april

"Lenovo’s YOGA 510 notebooks will be first to come with Radeon M400 series on board as announced by the company in press release yesterday.

YOGA 510-14ISK notebook will ship with Radeon R5 M430 and YOGA 510-15ISK with R7 M460 graphics cards. The R5 430M is definitely a rebranded card, as for R7 M460 it is yet unclear. It is only said that M460 has 2GB memory on board. Both cards are paired with either Pentium or Skylake i7 CPUs.

According to Lenovo, both notebooks will be available in April for €480 or €700 EUR respectively, AMD Radeon M400 series should be made official by that time."

This brings a new question: will AMD's 400 series consist of rebranded products for OEM partners (DELL, HP, etc.), and use the 500 series for its new Polaris chips?

SteamVR Performance Test Released By Valve

http://wccftech.com/steamvr-performance-test-released-valve/

"Valve has released a new SteamVR performance test, which allows users to check how different setups perform.

With both the specs for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive out in the open, potential VR users might be interested to see how their system setups perform with SteamVR.

The performance test from Valve can be reached by going to this page, although people are reporting that this page will redirect to the main Steam Store. To solve this, people can use the following link to install the SteamVR performance test: https://steamdb.info/app/323910/"

Via the following workaround, we were able to properly utilize our GTX690 to its fullest, as both of our GPU cores were being used at 96%.

Before starting, let me get this out of the way: this does not mean that Half-Life 3 is under development. These references are not a confirmation of Half Life 3 being under development. Half Life 3 is not officially unveiled or leaked. Okay? We are good to go? Nevertheless, these findings are interesting to say the least, which is why we decided to share them.

The second, and last part of the news:

MIGHT & MAGIC HEROES VII GETS FREE LOST TALES OF AXEOTH DLC

http://www.pcgamer.com/might-magic-heroes-vii-gets-free-lost-tales-of-axeoth-dlc/

The first of a free, two-part DLC campaign for Ubisoft's Might & Magic Heroes VII called The Lost Tales of Axeoth is now available. Called Unity, it follows the story of Genevieve Seymor, who sets out to collect lost spells and create a new philosophy of magic in the wake of the world-destroying Reckoning.

FIRAXIS IS "WORKING VERY FURIOUSLY" TO FIX XCOM 2 PERFORMANCE ISSUES

http://www.pcgamer.com/firaxis-is-working-very-furiously-to-fix-xcom-2-performance-issues/

XCOM 2 is an outstanding game that unfortunately suffers from performance problems, sporadic but some quite serious, that have diminished the experience (and the framerate) for a number of players. Publisher 2K Games said last week that it was aware of the complaints and “gathering more information from users,” and today Lead Designer Jake Solomon told Rock, Paper, Shotgun that developer Firaxis is “working very furiously” to get the game running properly.

BIOWARE ASKS, "WOULD YOU PLAY A DRAGON AGE TACTICS GAME?"

http://www.pcgamer.com/bioware-asks-would-you-play-a-dragon-age-tactics-game/

I don't think I've ever played a BioWare game for the combat, but when faced with the question, "Would you play a Dragon Age Tactics game? (Tactics as in a game like Fire Emblem or XCOM)", my answer has to be a resounding yes. Partly because I bloody love tactics games like Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics, and partly because it's always interesting to see Dragon Age being bent into a different shape.

>>Yes, I would (try it)

GIANTS: CITIZEN KABUTO SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR FIRST WONDER CANCELLED

http://www.pcgamer.com/giants-citizen-kabuto-spiritual-successor-first-wonder-cancelled/

First Wonder, that Giants: Citizen Kabuto spiritual successor I mentioned last year, has been cancelled. This isn't entirely surprising news, given that the Kickstarter failed, but at the time the team seemed hopeful that development might continue, with the aid of another funding source. That never happened, and so developers Rogue Rocket Games have emailed backers to inform them of the bad news. Here are a few quotes from that email, courtesy of Reddit:

BIOSHOCK: THE COLLECTION RATED FOR PC

http://www.pcgamer.com/bioshock-the-collection-rated-for-pc/

The Brazilian Advisory Rating Board has revealed another game. Or rather, a collection of games that have been on PC for ages now, so it's not nearly as dramatic as that Quantum Break PC leak the other day. They've rated some mysterious object named BioShock: The Collection for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and I am just mystified as to what it could be.

DYING LIGHT WILL GET MORE DLC IN 2016, TECHLAND PROMISES

http://www.pcgamer.com/dying-light-will-get-more-dlc-in-2016-techland-promises/

Dying Light got a major expansion earlier this month in the form of The Following, and all reports suggest it's very good. In fact, Techland's post-launch support for the game has been impressive overall, with modding support and new features rolling out steadily during 2015. Some might assume that The Following is the last hurrah before the team moves onto the inevitable sequel, but no: more DLC is coming this year.

NELLY COOTALOT: THE FOWL FLEET FINALLY OUT NEXT MONTH

http://www.pcgamer.com/nelly-cootalot-the-fowl-fleet-finally-out-next-month/

One year and six months ago I wrote about Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet, a nice-lookin' sequel to piratical freeware adventure Nelly Cootalot, that I'd pretty much completely forgotten about until I saw this exciting news. That news being that whoa, Nelly finally has a release date: March 22. The Fowl Fleet features the voices of Tom Baker and Thomas Reiner, among others (he's big in germany, apparently), and visually it's changed a lot since the Adventure Game Studio original, something creator Alisdair Beckett-King details here. Smartly—considering Germany's huge point and click community—the game is fully voiced in both English and German. It's also been translated into several other languages, for your reading pleasure.

THE BLACK DEATH IS A GRIM SURVIVAL GAME SET IN MEDIEVAL TIMES

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-black-death-is-a-grim-survival-game-set-in-medieval-times/

The Black Death is a medieval survival MMO, and as you might expect it's quite a grim one at that. Case in point: one of the classes is named 'Peasant'. Peasants are good at agriculture and foraging, not so much at the old killing, and like the other classes they'll try to survive against the pox-ridden bubonic backdrop of medieval times.

STELLARIS DEV DIARY EXPLAINS ALLIANCES AND FEDERATIONS

http://www.pcgamer.com/stellaris-dev-diary-explains-alliances-and-federations/

Impossibly promising grand sci-fi strategy Stellaris continues to intrigue, the latest dev diary explaining just how Alliances and Federations are going to work. To cut a long story short, if you're in an Alliance with a bunch of other civs and you want to do a war, you'll need to get the approval of all the other members—so you'd better declare some goals for the war that will benefit your allies too. If your galactic chums don't fancy a war, you can always leave in a huff and make a go of it on your own—alternatively, if things are just peachy between you, maybe you'd like to take things to the next level and form a Federation?

I finished Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae on Steam.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND getting this game unless its part of a indie game bundle.

Its not worth the full price.

Repetitive, poorly designed, and very short.

Its officially my lowest scored game - scored it a 40 out of 100.

I'll take note, thanks.

But I think you're a bit harsh: while short, Limbo deserves more than a 74. And a 63 for Super Mario Land? Ridiculous!
