Managed to send Techland a support ticket nearly a day ago and got an email letting me know they will get back to me within at least 48 hrs.

Hopefully I can get some sort of answer or solution for them using CA or giving us an option to turn it off because I really want to play that expansion.

X-Com 2?

Nah it;s for Dying Light's expansion =P.

They have placed VAC bans on anyone who mods the game now since Jan and that emans I cannot mod out that horrible Chromatic Aberration effect and since they ban us for modding I had no choice but to send them a ticket urging to include an option. I mean Nixxes patched in a graphics option with TR then Techland should be able to do the same. THat effect itself makes it hard for me to navidate let alone see in the distance and for some people it induces headaches and nausea which is clearly a bad effect to include in a game.

Basically this is CA turned on:

CA modded out:

Gif version:

They aren't the only devs to use the effect but they are by far the worst offenders to make the CA effect so strong in their game. See how blurred and tinged the game looks like along with a loss of colour. It;s them trying to be artistic with the sacrifice of colour, visuals and causing headaches/nausea for some people, they really shoudln't have gone that route and just stuck without the effect, their game looks aboslutely stunning and beautiful when CA is modded out. It's also a damn shame they are heavily against mods as well as ooposed to Firaxis who gladly welcome their modding community with open happy arms.

Wow a VAC ban for a offline mod? wat

Yeah it sounds harsh and tbh it's what is standing in my way between playing the game and modding it in order to play it. I cannot play the game with it on because it;s hard as fuck to see anything coming at me or from a distance, the 3D tinge also messes with me from time to time as well and it's 100% worked in favour with PVP players for every time they've invaded me. Of course I can't do PVP once I mod it out because they disable both co-iop and PVP. THey won't let me play the game with clear visuals. I honestly wish they were more mod friendly but they will learn the ahrd way. At elast I hope they learn from this, I don't want them to become a bunch of devs that get praised on the ground they walk on while excusing the crap they do.

I love their game to bits but I want that god awful ffect to be turned off. I paid full price for the game and it's expansion, I hoenstly just want an option to turn it off so I can finally play the expansion. I'd play it if I could mod it and do without the co-op/PVP but even then they are handing out VAC bans.

The requirement specs for the PC version have been updated:

http://wccftech.com/quantum-break-release-simultaneously-pc-xbox-april-5th-rumor/

The only noticeabe change is the GPU, which now is a more reasonable GTX 970 or R9 390. Sill asking for a high end CPU and 16GB of RAM.

And I'm still wondering what CPU does AMD have to be equivalent to the i5-4690 or i7-4790.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Well at least I know what to target somewhat when I build my future PC.

And what will that be? And when too!

€200 CPU and €300 GPU aren't that high end.

No I mean - what to target in what specs to work/build upon XD.

Holiday 2016!

I meant if it was in terms of CPU, GPU or both.

And by then we will (supposedly) have new CPUs from both Intel and AMD, and we'll also have new GPUs from both Nvidia and AMD. It will be easy to build a machine better than the recommended by then.

THE WILD EIGHT IS CO-OP SURVIVAL WITH MUTATED WOLVES

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-wild-eight-is-co-op-survival-with-mutated-wolves/

A reveal trailer and a handful of screenshots have appeared for an upcoming cooperative survival game called The Wild Eight. In the grand tradition of reveal trailers everywhere it actually doesn't reveal much, but the basic premise is this: as the result of a plane crash, a handful of survivors find themselves stranded in the harsh wilderness of Alaska and must work together to stay alive.

FUNCOM REVEALS THE MAN HIMSELF IN FIRST CONAN EXILES DEV DIARY

http://www.pcgamer.com/funcom-reveals-the-man-himself-in-first-conan-exiles-dev-diary/

Funcom's new Conan game was announced last month as a survival-crafting game, which I think caught some folks by surprise, since that doesn't really make it sound like the sort of barbarically violent experience one would expect from a game built around Robert E. Howard's loin-clothed lunatic. But eking out a miserable existence in a harsh and unforgiving world is actually rather fitting, and the first Conan Exiles dev diary offers comforting reassurance that there will be plenty of dismemberment and decapitation. Phew.

Rainbow Six: Siege received a major update last week in the form of Black Ice, which introduced two new operators, a map and a slew of fixes. As Evan noted, it was a substantial and satisfying update, but it introduced a range of new problems. Players have noticed a tonne of glitches and balance problems, but thankfully Ubisoft has been quick to patch them up – update 2.1 is out now for PC.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S WORLD IS BACK, AND IT'S FREE

http://www.pcgamer.com/five-nights-at-freddys-world-is-back-and-its-free/

Five Nights at Freddy's World was removed from Steam last month because it wasn't very good. Creator Scott Cawthon admitted as much, writing that he wasn't satisfied with the state of the game following an avalanche of negative feedback on Steam. Everyone who bought it – no matter how long they had played it – was entitled to a refund.

$10M DYING LIGHT EDITION NOW ON SALE

http://www.pcgamer.com/10m-dying-light-edition-now-on-sale/

We thought Dying Light was solid. Chris liked it's latest expansion, The Following, even more. But while it might be a game you'd be content to pay full price for, I suspect even the wealthy and fiscally irresponsible among us would stop short of shelling out $10 million for the Dying Light Spotlight Edition.

That Dying Light special edition doesn't sound that very good. Just seems like you should get so much more for $10m than that.

Didn't the original game have a special edition for like £100k that included a house? House>part in movie

I think it was £250k and yes, it included an anti-zombie shelter, which I totally agree was miles better than this edition.

Also, Saints Row IV had a $1M edition that included, among other things, a Lamborghini Gallardo.
