Even retailers are confused by the 5060Ti:
So is this one now 8Gb or 16GB?

I think the 5060Ti 16GB, we need to use almost the whole name for this one, is not a bad card, but it's not interesting. A bit faster and cheaper than the card it replaces, but not enough to impress and with the caveat that the 4060Ti felt more like a 3060Ti Super rather than an actual successor, making the gains of the new card look worse compared to the 3060Ti and the time since it launched.
At least it's not the worst card this gen, a prize that belong to the 5070.
But well, it's a good upgrade for those running 2060 or older parts.

That's why I went the extra mile to add the 16GB capacity when talking about this launch. The 8GB model will fare worse than this one, especially in reviews that use 4K and 1440p tests.
Also, while the 5060Ti 16GB and its 8x PCIe Gen5 lanes doesn't suffer when installed on a Gen4 motherboard (Techpowerup has tested it), the 8GB model may suffer more. Or maybe not, we'll have to wait and see until reviewers can buy those cards and test them.

SALES/PLAYER COUNTS & DEALS
RuneScape: Dragonwilds has dethroned Schedule 1 in the fight for Steam's top selling games list
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/survival-crafting/runescape-dragonwilds-has-dethroned-schedule-i-in-the-fight-for-steams-top-selling-games-list/
Since the dawn of time a battle has been raging between two equally powerful but opposing concepts. I am, of course, talking about dragons and drugs. And yes, I know all about how Puff the Magic Dragon allegedly tried to bring the two factions together, but it's all lies. There can be no lasting peace. Anyway! For now, at least, dragons are on top. Specifically the top of Steam's top selling games list, where RuneScape: Dragonwilds has dethroned Schedule 1.
(...)
I mostly play survival crafting diversions begrudgingly (though there are a few I genuinely like), but there's some stuff in here that actually sounds like my jam. And so far, the response on Steam has been pretty good, netting the early access game a Mostly Positive rating.
While the dragon cohort might be celebrating this victory over drugs, drugs still has the numbers on its side. Schedule 1 is currently sitting comfortably in the fourth spot in Steam's most played list, boasting a daily peak concurrent player count of 241,699. That's nearly 100k over Path of Exile 2, in the fifth spot, but quite a bit below stalwarts like PUBG, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike, which sit above it. Dragonwilds has a more humble position in this list, where it's only at 47. That's still a respectable debut, though, with a peak of 41,270 players today.

Dawn of Stealthtenza is a new DLC-sized expansion mod for Fallout: New Vegas, offering 3 hours of new content
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/dawn-of-stealthtenza-is-a-new-dlc-sized-expansion-mod-for-fallout-new-vegas-offering-3-hours-of-new-content/
Modder ‘VoidKing02’ has released a new DLC-sized expansion mod for Fallout: New Vegas, called Dawn of Stealthtenza. This fan expansion offers 3 hours of new free content to the game, so I highly recommend getting it.
Going into more details, Dawn of Stealthtenza is a fan-made expansion with a cool story about a secret plan from before the war and a special Chinese Stealth Armor. It includes new characters with voices, and there are around 470 lines of dialogue. Players can look forward to 7 boss fights, 7 unique armors, and 9 special weapons.
The expansion also adds cool new features like a new weapons seller, 2 new dungeons to explore, and 5 new types of creatures. You’ll also find a Wild Wasteland encounter and 6 fun challenges. On top of that, players will get to make choices and pick different ways to finish the story.
The ultimate reward for completing this mod is a new armor set. This armor set combines Cowboy’s vibes with the Chinese Stealth Armor. The Stealthtenza Armor comes with its own hat/helmet, and a cowl plus optics concealing mask.

Skyblivion fan project lead sends 'all love and no hate' to the official Oblivion remaster devs: 'This always was a passion project and still is until the end'

Bethesda's long-rumored Oblivion remaster is now all but official, thanks to a leak from developer Virtuous Games that blabbed a bunch of screens and box art all over the internet yesterday. You might expect that development would take the wind out of the sails of Skyblivion, the fan-made Oblivion remake in the Skyrim engine, but that's apparently not the case—in fact, Skyblivion project lead Rebelzize says the upcoming official remaster "changes nothing."
"To be clear this changes nothing for me," Rebelzize wrote on X.
"This always was a passion project and still is until the end. For the community it's a win-win as you get twice the amount of Oblivion this year. All love and no hate towards the people who made the official remaster."

Thursday news, the sequel:
Hideo Kojima confirms an easy mode for Death Stranding 2, which'll allow players to skip boss battles and let them read about it instead

New information about Death Stranding 2 is a little sparse, unless you count all the celebrity appearances on Hideo Kojima's social media accounts. But Kojima does sprinkle in a couple of details about the upcoming game between his celebrity cameos and movie reviews, like the fact that Death Stranding 2 will have an easy mode.
Capcom gets a very special award from the Japanese government for having 6,000 worldwide trademarks
https://www.pcgamer.com/gaming-industry/capcom-gets-a-very-special-award-from-the-japanese-government-for-having-6-000-worldwide-trademarks/
Capcom's been doing rather well for itself, lately—what with Monster Hunter Wilds coming out, hot on the heels of a batch of popular remakes. Dragon's Dogma 2 may have had its controversies, but I still had a ton of fun with it, so I'm willing to give them a gold star, too.
What I might not be giving them is an award for having 6,000 trademarks—but then again, I'm not the Japanese government. As translated by Automaton (via Gamebiz), Capcom has received the prestigious honour of 'you've been a good little corporation, haven't you' award. Okay, that's not actually what it's called—it's the "Commissioner of Japan Patent Office Award for Corporate Utilization of Intellectual Property", but that's what I heard in my brain.

Did you receive an invitation to a Witcher 4 closed beta test? No you didn't, according to developer CD Projekt, which says the purported invites offering an early look at the new game are in fact just a scam.
The newest Minecraft snapshot makes A Minecraft Movie's giant Ghast airships into an in-game reality
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/survival-crafting/the-newest-minecraft-snapshot-makes-a-minecraft-movies-giant-ghast-airships-into-an-in-game-reality/
A Minecraft Movie pleasantly surprised me with its mostly accurate depictions of how people play Minecraft, though some of its antics understandably stretched beyond what's currently possible in the game. One of those impossible antics is now very much possible in Minecraft's Java's latest snapshot updates: Ghast airships are real, and they have a lot of potential.
Former BioWare producer says Baldur's Gate 3's impact on game dev will be 'somewhat muted' thanks to industry convention, and I can't help think we've got it all backwards
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/baldurs-gate/former-bioware-producer-says-baldurs-gate-3s-impact-on-game-dev-will-be-somewhat-muted-thanks-to-industry-convention-and-i-cant-help-think-weve-got-it-all-backwards/
Baldur's Gate 3 is a singular game—a step up for the CRPG genre, proof that turn-based combat and deep, thoughtful storytelling is still fashionable no matter what some live-service brainwormed EA suit might tell you, and likely to be one of the best RPGs that'll arrive this decade.
It's so singular, in fact, that there's been an enduring discourse around whether it's raised the bar for the genre, or whether that's setting a standard impossible for other studios to meet. Mark Darrah, an executive producer at BioWare until 2020, clearly leans towards the latter, as he explained on his YouTube channel yesterday.
Marvel Rivals' costume customisation may look cool, but it adds yet another unnecessary step while tacking on even more money to expensive skins
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/third-person-shooter/marvel-rivals-costume-customisation-may-look-cool-but-it-adds-yet-another-unnecessary-step-while-tacking-on-even-more-money-to-expensive-skins/
Marvel Rivals' latest update brings a couple of helpful fixes, some new skins, and the ability to customise the colour of every current hero costume in the game. Costume Colours have arrived right in time for the Hellfire Gala, and it's such a cool idea I can't believe I hadn't thought about something like this before.
Baldur's Gate 3's excellent new photo mode is full of details, dances, and poses for your cat—as well as 7 different ways to vogue, because why not
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/baldurs-gate/baldurs-gate-3s-excellent-new-photo-mode-is-full-of-details-dances-and-poses-for-your-cat-as-well-as-7-different-ways-to-vogue-because-why-not/
If you haven't had a chance to try out Baldur's Gate 3's new photo mode, then you're in for a treat, because this thing is absolutely stonking stacked. Dozens upon dozens of poses, 10 unique dances, and a bunch of different ways for a cat to sit, for some reason.
One last thing. It's Easter and, where I am, Friday and next Monday are holidays. What does that mean? Well, congratulations! You won't have to deal with my walls of news for neither of those two days.
But don't get comfy, I plan to come back Tuesday and pester you with more gaming news.
Please excuse my bad English.
