Funny question guys what is the worst graphics card you ever had?

Tough choice, 3 potential answers:

  1. NVidia Riva TNT M64. My dad got that one to replace the TNT 2 that died beforehand, basically halved the framerates. That at a time where the GeForce 2 GTS just had released...
  2. NVidia FX 5500. Came with a prebuilt PC, got replaced by a Geforce 6800 later on due to the FX's utter weakness and being prone to crashes.
  3. NVidia GTX 1050Ti. In my previous laptop, too weak for gaming and had many crashes and bugs.

This mod restores the reputation system that CD Projekt RED cut from The Witcher 3
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/this-mod-restores-restores-the-reputation-system-that-cd-projekt-red-cut-from-the-witcher-3/
The Witcher 3 fans, here is something special for you. Modder ‘Freak’ has released a must-have mod which restores the reputation system that CD Projekt RED cut from them. As such, Geralt’s choices and behaviors will correspond to his reputation points in different regions.
This is an amazing mod that we highly recommend downloading. After all, it will greatly enhance the way you play the game. Just make sure to use it in your second or third playthrough.
Going into more details, the mod adds five reputation levels in total. These are Hated, Disliked, Neutral, Liked, and Respected. Each level corresponds to Geralt’s reputation points range in the region. Naturally, the initial reputation points in each region will always be 50, which is Neutral.
With this mod, the different results of some quests based on Geralt’s choices will affect Geralt’s reputation in the region, gaining or losing. Some of the major quests will have an even bigger influence.
And that’s not all. You can gain reputation points by winning Fist Fights or Boat/Horse Races. You can also gain points by finishing some of the POI events, or by completing the Monster Hunt contracts. On the other hand, if you steal or make offensive moves in front of the guards, you will lose reputation points. And, if you murder them, things will get a lot worse.

Sunshine Dream is a total conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto 5 that is set in the city of Miami from Driv3r
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/sunshine-dream-is-a-total-conversion-mod-for-grand-theft-auto-5-that-is-set-in-miami-from-driv3r/
The Sunshine Dream Team has released a new version of their total conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto 5, Sunshine Dream. Sunshine Dream is set in the city of Miami from Driv3r, and it completely replaces Los Santos & Blaine County.
From what I’ve seen, this mod does not come with any exclusive quests. Instead, it offers a new map that players can explore.
There are numerous areas from Driv3r that you can find in Sunshine Dream. For instance, there is Tanner’s safehouse, Mortain Mall, Red River Bar, Gold Coast Hotel, and Miami Beach PD.
In the latest version of Sunshine Dream, players can also expect traffic path improvements, better lighting, as well as vegetation across the map. There are also some scenario placements for you to experience. So, the map now does not feel as empty or lifeless as it did in its initial version.

This Fallout 4 Mod adds contextual hit reactivity to various objects and items, something that will greatly enhance the game’s stealth combat mechanics
https://www.dsogaming.com/pc-performance-analyses/this-fallout-4-mod-adds-contextual-hit-reactivity-to-various-objects-and-items-something-that-will-greatly-enhance-the-games-stealth-combat-mechanics/
Modder ‘bp42s’ has released an amazing new mod for Fallout 4. Titled “Hit Those Objects”, this mod adds contextual hit reactivity to various objects and items in the world. This will greatly enhance the way you play the game. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
With this mod, you can use the environment and junk items to your advantage in stealth and in normal combat. For instance, you can shoot glass bottles, coffee cups, and other fragile junk items to distract enemies so you can sneak by, or ambush them.
Glass objects create a loud sound and a glass shard explosion. On the other hand, ceramic objects will create a slightly less sound, and a ceramic chunk explosion. Players can also turn on and off radios. By doing so, the radios will emit a loud static sound with two detection events.
Naturally, all of these interactions can distract enemies and make them investigate the object. As such, the game’s stealth mechanics will be greatly overhauled. This will be a dream come true for a lot of gamers who prefer a more stealthy approach.

Here’s your first look at Pac-Man World 2 with RTX Remix Path Tracing
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/heres-your-first-look-at-pac-man-world-2-with-rtx-remix-path-tracing/
YouTube’s ‘Pac-Moose’ has released a video, showcasing an early WIP version of his RTX Remix Path Tracing Mod for Pac-Man World 2. This video will give you an early glimpse at how RTX Remix can enhance the graphics of this old 3D platformer.
As said, this is an early version of the RTX Remix Mod. Therefore, it does not represent the quality of the final version. For example, the modder has already acknowledged the brightness issues.
What’s funny here is that even in this early state, this RTX Remix Mod appears to be wonders to the game’s graphics. Pac-Man World 2 with Path Tracing already looks better than its original version. At least in my opinion.
For those wondering, there is currently no ETA on when this mod will come out. The modder is currently working on fixing some of the issues that were raised with this video. Additionally, he’s working on further improving the Path Tracing effects. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

More than 10 years after its creation, massive Russian Oblivion mod Citadel of Madness has been translated into English
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/more-than-10-years-after-its-creation-massive-russian-oblivion-mod-citadel-of-madness-has-been-translated-into-english/
Citadel of Madness is mod for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion that's over a decade old. (It was first uploaded to TESAll in 2013, and significantly updated in 2022 with a 2.0 release.) It adds a new landmass above the Shivering Isles, a floating archipelago where hundreds of new NPCs live and where you'll find a new questline the mod's description calls "comparable in duration to any Cyrodiil guild."
Citadel of Madness was created by modder Lariatius and translated into English by Vorians, who has adapted a bunch of other Russian mods as well. It contains 38 quests, 15 of which are sidequests, and promises more than 25 hours of playtime. There are over 3,000 lines of dialogue (no English voice-acting, however), and a variety of new alchemical ingredients and concoctions, new dungeons, and new enemies—including bosses.
Given the connection to the Shivering Isles, you can expect Citadel of Madness to be quirky, to say the least—several of the new NPCs look like they stepped right out of the Monster Factory. You should be at least level 18 to play the Citadel of Madness questline, which is begun by traveling to a watch tower you'll find north of New Sheoth in the Isles.

https://www.pcgamer.com/games/survival-crafting/once-human-developer-teases-the-first-big-update-apologizes-for-the-last-bad-patch/
Once Human developer Starry Studio has teased the first big update coming to the open world survival game, which will include new PvP and PvE modes and "a new northern mountain region, monsters, and challenges." First things first, though, an apology: It seems that a recent maintenance update broke numerous items in the game and caused the demolition of a whole bunch of player houses.

The creator of this Bigfoot game is considering changing Bigfoot's face after commenters said it's too human-like, but I'm entranced by it

I was startled awake this morning when the first email I opened confronted me with the image above: a smooth-faced, blue-eyed Bigfoot gazing contemplatively, or maybe pensively, at the press release that followed, the announcement of upcoming sasquatch sim Bigfoot Life.
Something about that rubber-mask face stupefied me—I also like Bigfoot's marching gait, seen in the trailer embedded below—but after seeing criticism of his Bigfoot's appearance online, the game's creator is considering reworking the cryptid's face.

College Football 25 is having a big moment on consoles, but like usual, EA decided PC gamers are an afterthought
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/sports/one-of-the-biggest-games-in-the-world-right-now-isn-t-on-pc-and-it-s-not-clear-why/
Something cool happened in the world of American sports this year: the NCAA, the organization that puts on college sports at the highest level and rakes in over a billion dollars a year doing it, settled on a deal that allows college athletes to be paid for their services—something that should've been happening all along. The deal is a huge win for student-athletes who previously destroyed their bodies for free, but it's also a big deal for publisher EA, as it means it can finally go back to making college football games.
EA's first college football game in over a decade, now simply called EA Sports College Football 25, is already one of the biggest games of the year. During CF25's early access period last week, which you could only get into by pre-ordering the $100 edition of the game, players noticed that over 600,000 people were online at once. Before it was even officially out, College Football 25 was putting up Helldivers 2 and Baldur's Gate 3 numbers.
Unfortunately, you won't find College Football 25 anywhere on PC. As far as we know, EA isn't making a PC version this time around, and it's not really clear why.
>> Why does this always happen with sport games? FIFA, NBA, etc. always get worse versions on PC.

Not since Kiriko has a new Overwatch heroes single-handedly tanked the queue times in Quick Play. I only managed to get a handful of games in and I'm certain the wait times are only going to get worse as the trial for Juno, the game's latest support hero, continues into the weekend. A Baldur's Gate 3 player has discovered hidden mini-quests you can only get by leaving the most important items in the game in an exploding building or at the bottom of the ocean

Baldur's Gate 3 was our 2023 Game of the Year and highest-scoring review in over a decade and a half for a whole host of reasons, but its open-ended player freedom and attending reactivity to all of our potential choices is certainly up there. A year out from release, Proxy Gate Tactician on YouTube has uncovered a particularly absurd edge case reaction involving the Netherstones and late-game Iron Throne and Steel Watch Foundry dungeons.

TennoCon's Warframe: 1999 demo reveals '90s instant messenger clients, motorcycle stunts, and an Infested space mutant boy band
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/action/tennocons-warframe-1999-demo-reveals-90s-instant-messenger-clients-motorcycle-stunts-and-an-infested-space-mutant-boy-band/
TennoCon is upon us once again, and the Digital Extremes fan event's brought us an extended gameplay demo for Warframe: 1999, Warframe's next major story update. When Warframe: 1999 was first teased last year, I'll admit I was skeptical about how on-board I'd be for the space ninja game's dabbling in CRT-era nostalgia. But when this year's TennoCon gameplay demo kicked off with an original single from On-lyne, an alt-universe NSYNC knockoff, I knew I was wrong to doubt.

In Electrogical, set to release this year and with a demo out now, you'll place pieces on the board to form a chain that adds, subtracts, divides, and multiplies to reach a set output—but the pieces you have are fixed in shape and rotation, the boards are weird sizes, and you might not need every part you have to succeed.

The First Descendant players have discovered a Destiny-style loot cave but, rather than 'simply nerfing certain content', the devs are leaning in and making every cave a loot cave
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/third-person-shooter/the-first-descendant-players-have-discovered-a-destiny-style-loot-cave-but-rather-than-simply-nerfing-certain-content-the-devs-are-leaning-in-and-making-every-cave-a-loot-cave/
In the early stages of Destiny, the original game and not the sequel, players made a wonderful discovery. There was a cave in the Old Russia area of the open world where some sort of glitch made enemies respawn constantly, with higher drop rates than usual (…)
Nexon's new looter-shooter The First Descendant launched earlier this month and, you guessed it, has arrived complete with a loot cave. In this case it's more of a loot outpost, I suppose, with the exploit called the Valby Run and located within The Fortress area. Mobs at this location have been respawning infinitely and at high speed, whereas most other outposts will eventually run out of enemies, and slaughtering them en masse will drop a boatload of the game's resources: gold, kuiper and the all-important gear loot.
So all hail the Valby Run. The development team have now addressed this issue, and perhaps not in the manner expected.

Digital Extremes (Warframe) CEO Steve Sinclair argues in an interview with VGC, however, that companies are too quick to pull the ripcord if their games don't do gangbusters on release: "They think the release is make or break, and it’s not. They have a financial way to be persistent, and they never do it … It comes out, doesn’t work and they throw it away."
Sinclair seems to argue that most live service games, namely those backed up by huge publishers, can probably have their ship steered away from the iceberg, stating it's a "shame when you put so many years of your life into iterating on those systems or building technology or building the start of a community, and because the operating costs are high, you get terrified when you see the numbers … We’ve seen this with amazing releases that I think have massive potential, and I think they eject too soon."

Cool video. Thanks for sharing.

It's also worth stating that, despite what the internet says, Linux systems were also affected: https://www.pcgamer.com/software/operating-systems/its-not-just-windows-pcs-that-have-gone-belly-up-as-crowdstrikes-falcon-software-has-been-b0rking-linux-powered-computers-too/
