Zen 4 and RDNA 3 should be a case study on how to ruin your brand lmao

^ But what's a good price for an office/gaming chair? I just ordered a Humanscale task chair on sale for a bit over $400. Still more than I'd like to pay but nothing cheaper I've tried has kept me out of pain (getting old sucks) so I guess it's worth it. Crazy that ergo chairs can get over $2k these days.

What do y'all use?

The whole gaming/office chair discussion around the internet always triggers me cause you ask on say reddit and most of the posts suggest buying a $2000 herman miller embody. Like bruhs...

But me, I have been largely using a hand me down office chair. No idea what it's called tho lol. It's one of those "It just works" sorta deal. I'll probably be getting a new chair one of these days. I am tempted to get a secretlabs or ergochair pro when they go on sale this year cause yea, I am starting to feel the strain of being 30.

What kind of job do you have? Your profile says you're 33, how can you have such back pain? Oh, well, I hope that chair is worth it, I can get a no-name reclinable, "gaming" chair with fake leather and massage and heaten functions for less than 200€.

In any case, I got a "gaming" chair some years ago for something like 100€ (I think it was on sale), and it stil holds. The fake leather is mostly gone by now, but it's still comfy enough.

Please excuse my bad English.

I bought this one for €130 over two years ago:

I just use a cheapish chair with memory foam seat and lumbar support lol. No issues here. Those Secret Lab ones are supposedly decent though. A couple of my friends have them and they said they are really comfortable and built really well.

On another note.. its great to see that the 4070Ti are so meh-ly received and shitely priced that not even scalpers are going for them (in the UK). I can only find four cards on there from Ebay (UK sellers). You love to see it. Nvidia..

Scalpers got burned with the 4080. It's not surprising that they didn't want to get burned again with the 4080 12GB 4070Tis.

Hopefully Nvidia will learn from this and lower the price once they realize that they aren't sell them.

I have a cheap(-ish?) chair from Ikea, and it's pretty much perfect for me. It's probably the best chair I've had so far. Definitely beats the gaming chair I had some years ago... My impression is that gaming chairs are mostly all the same, with little regard for ergonomy. I don't think I'm getting a gaming chair ever again. (Well I suppose what I called a gaming chair wasn't sold as a gaming chair, but it was exactly like one, with less flashy colours though.)
