The most ridiculous price increase goes to the RX 580, which went from $200 to breaking it's chart range (which tops out at $500) within 2 months. Since early February it's above $500, but how much exactly I have no idea. At the same time the RX 5700 didn't get any major price hike at all and still sits at around $420...

The RX 6700XT is a new entry with ~$750. Which means close to RTX 3070 price (~$780), but way above the 3060Ti (~$580). So even the scalper prices are too expensive.

What a sad year to be a PC gamer. Not to mention that this is a "3060 competitor" priced against the 3060 Ti if true. I wouldn't put it past AMD considering their prices have been hella goofy in a number of products not that it matters but come on, it's the principle that counts... At least have the official MSRP be reasonable before the mark up happens!

Can't wait until the whole shortage thing is over. AMD needs a right kick in the bollocks. They are milking their customers for all their worth.. even moreso than Nvidia and Intel!

Agreed. TSMC and Samsung too. Whose idea was it to restrict <6nm processes to TWO countries, TWO, was a good idea? 

Well, at least we agree it's a terribad time to jump ship from the console side of things into PC gaming, especially for someone who will self-restrict himself to NO STEAM and NO MICROSOFT STORE gaming for the foreseeable future unless a major overhaul of either happens. 

Now it's only a matter of time before someone finds a way to add Big Daddy and hand-gesture plasmids to make it even better. I don't think it will take much time for that.

Well, as far as I know, no one has restricted anything, it's just that TSMC and Samsung have the money, resources and willing to push the nodes further than anyone else.

And well, you still have GOG and the Epic Store with its free games to enjoy PC gaming, once prices go back to less crazy levels.
