I had drifting issues on my old DS4s. I just increased the deadzone and they were gone.

So that's why all controllers fail now? Looks like an opportunity for some other vendor to promote itself and get some commands.

It would also be interesting to know who make the joycons during the 5th and 6th generation of consoles and try to get that design back.

If you thought Bloodlines 2 development couldn't look more like a trainwreck, you were wrong.

Last year I got myself a brand new PS4 slim and one stick was drifting, I disassembled it and 'cleaned' it with a brush and surprisingly drifting stopped completely, whew.

Not unexpected. All they had to do is honor the original and improve on some of its flaws, but my guess is they decided mid development they want to appeal to mainstream and fucked up everything in the process...

It's published by Paradox, the king of DLCs. Maybe they wanted to change the game to make room for the dozen of DLCs their games have and the studio didn't know how to do it without launching a clearly unfinished game.

Jurassic Park: Trespasser VR Fan Remake in Half-Life: Alyx under development
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/jurassic-park-trespasser-vr-fan-remake-in-half-life-alyx-under-development/
Modder ‘Stevokenevo’ is currently working on a VR remake of Jurassic Park: Trespasser in Half-Life: Alyx. Jurassic Park: Trespasser featured great physics for its time, and most gamers refer to it as the “arm simulator”. And, as a fan of Jurassic Park, I’m really looking forward to it.
(...)

Valheim has a first-person mod, and it works pretty darn well
https://www.pcgamer.com/valheim-has-a-first-person-mod-and-it-works-pretty-darn-well/
While Valheim doesn't officially support mods, modders aren't letting that slow them down. There's already a mod that overhauls the construction system, and so it was probably only a matter of time until someone overhauled your Viking's perspective. Yep, there's now a mod for Valheim that lets you play in first-person mode.
And the while the First Person View mod is still a work in progress, and the game itself doesn't seem like it'd be a natural fit, it really does work surprisingly well. I ran around for about a half hour in first-person this morning, and the beautiful world looks even better when you peer through your character's eyes instead of looking over their shoulders.

Doom Eternal director has 'put a lot of thought' into adding a female Slayer
https://www.pcgamer.com/doom-eternal-director-has-put-a-lot-of-thought-into-adding-a-female-slayer/
The Doomslayer can take on many guises in Doom Eternal. There's the Classic Doomguy, the Mullet Slayer, the Doomicorn, the Night-mare, even the Purple Pony. One thing the Doomslayer has not been, however, is a woman.
That may change someday. During a recent stream, game director Hugo Martin said that he's actually thought about how to best incorporate a female Slayer into the series, because he'd want the character to be more than just another skin.

Some additional tidbits from Jims Interview.

"What about PlayStation games on PC?"
"A whole slate of them is on the way starting with Days Gone this spring."

" Firstly, in terms of the straightforward success of the activity of publishing the game on PC, people liked it and they bought it. We also looked at it through the lens of what the PlayStation community thought about it. There was no massive adverse reaction to it." "The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the calibre of the IP has improved. Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision"

Sounds like they are really committed to porting games to PC!

A change of studio is never a good thing. Let's hope for the best but yeah, it doesn't bode well for the game.

That ^

Also, I think it's not impossible that they realized that under 5th edition rules, much of what was Bloodlines would be impossible without breaking the new rules in major ways. 5th edition of V:TM is much more unforgiving and the increases in power much lower compared to previous editions, also the hunger is much, much greater than it was before.

Would they stick to the core rules, then Bloodlines 2 would be more akin to a survival horror game with a constant need to hide and feed.
