GOG gets the release of Diggles: The Myth of Fenris with a 20% discount until the 10th of December: https://www.gog.com/game/diggles_the_myth_of_fenris

I loved that game in it's German original version (where it's just called Wiggles), but couldn't get it to run anymore since it couldn't find Hardware T&L on modern GPUs (modern shaders can do much more than that, but the program doesn't know that and thus refused to run).

Time to dig deep and find the rings of Fenris' collar again...

Oh, and for those who don't know what kind of game it is, imagine Oxygen not included with simplified ressource management (and only solids at that beside water), but with research, combat and tons of now mostly outdated references.

Wow, you're really excited about this game, boffer.

Soon(tm)...

Saw that State of Decay 2 video for series X and didn't really notice much difference, but it is making me wonder when the hell MS is going to actually bring the features they are implementing for Series X to Windows, because I'm already tired of Game Bar/Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling doing practically nothing.

I just don't like the idea that whenever they get a new console to play with, Windows get's left behind in terms of features/optimisation, and getting bogged down with buggy/shitty OS updates (because we've been suffering those since W10 even showed up).

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I locked in my PSU. It's gonna be an old faithful BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 11 850W. It's an older model but it checks out.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Casey Hudson, general manager, and Mark Darrah, executive producer on the upcoming Dragon Age game, to leave BioWare, source.

I don't get Casey Hudson. He already left Bioware and then came back, only to leave again? Sounds like he doesn't know what to do.

The other one, Darrah, may be more problematic, but it will depend on how far into development in the next Dragon Age,

Epic Games and Weta Digital have released an incredible real-time animated short, created in Unreal Engine using the new Hair & Fur Rendering and Simulation tool. This tech video showcases what modern-day GPUs are capable of when pushed to their limits.
>> The short is impressive and almost 10 minutes long.

Can't wait for games to look like this.
