90% 3070 perf at 80% MSRP $399 (In dreams) otherwise it's basically the same card. No, you won't be able to buy one.

Is that correct?

Yes. Just pretend both Ampere and RDNA 2 are launching in 2021 and the reviews are just coming out months early.

Good thing no card will ever be available anyway so I won't even be tempted to pay moon prices for them.

I'm currently resigning myself to the thought that I probably won't have a PC until February.

That's probably a decent bet. I looked last night, the biggest online retailer in this region still has no stand-alone cards in the 3000-series for sale. Unconfirmed delivery of some units in January is all I see, and all those are likely going to pre-order customers. I think I made a good choice wanting to wait until spring or summer to build mine, it quite simply won't be possible until then to have easy access to the parts I need.

Yeah, it's looking like Feb/march, maybe even April till I start thinking of building a new rig at this point.

Hoping things will calm down by then at least.
