Electronic Arts has kicked off a Scary Savings Sale on Origin, with deals on games including Vampyr, Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition, Madden NFL 19, Duskers, and Beholder. One deal that's particularly noteworthy is Battlefield 1, which is available for $5—88 percent off the regular $40 price.
That's a good deal, but what really seals the deal is that the Premium Pass, which includes the They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse expansion, is free. Modder ‘Urthar’ has released a brand new mod for Doom 2, called Dimension of the Boomed. Dimension of the Boomed is an short episode for Doom II in the style of Quake, featuring 7 playable maps, designed in Boom format, with custom monsters and effects.
Basically, this mod borrows all the Quake textures in order to create some levels that have the same visual style and aesthetics with id Software’s first real 3D first-person shooter. The end result is really cool and the mod supports both single-player and co-op modes.
This mod is also compatible with QC: Doom Edition; a mod featuring all the weapons from Quake Champions as well as a mix of monsters from Doom, Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 4. As such, we strongly suggest using that too in order to get better Quake-vibes from it.

During its FY19 Q1 earnings conference call, Microsoft revealed that it plans to bring Xbox Game Pass to the PC. While we don’t have enough details about it, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that bringing Game Pass to the PC is going to be a big element of increasing the strength of its gaming community.
Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service like Netflix. Xbox gamers pay $9.99 per month in order to get access to a library of more than 200 new and old games. The list includes games like Gears of War 4, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4 and more.

Unity has shared some new tech videos, showcasing some of the visual improvements that are coming to the Unity Engine. The first, and perhaps most spectacular, tech video shows a sci-fi city that was built with Unity 2018.3.
This tech demo feature 4.5 million mesh renderers, 200K unique objects per building, 100K individual audio sources and 5K dynamic vehicles. What’s really interesting here is that Unity will release this demo to the public with full source and assets sometime in 2019.

YouTube’s ‘wwm0nkey’ has shared a new video, showing Halo Reach running in the latest version of the Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia. This latest version of Xenia, which is available for download right now, appears to be running the game smoothly (or at least its multiplayer mode).
There are still some graphical glitches, and we don’t know whether its single-player mode can be played from start to finish without any game-breaking bugs, however this is the smoothest we’ve seen Halo Reach in Xenia.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey gets an amazingly realistic Reshade mod that makes the game look gorgeous

As you may have noticed, we don’t usually share Reshade mods however, modder ‘Xanthus’ has released a pretty amazing Reshade mod for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. According to the modder, this mod greatly enhances the visuals of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey with very little performance cost. His intention was to achieve a level of visual fidelity as close to pure realism as possible.
Going into slightly more details, this Reshade mods brings MXAO (an SSAO algorithm with indirect lighting) for deeper and richer visuals, more vibrant and realistic colors, removes the yellow tint, packs bluer and brighter skies, as well as greener and more realistic foliage, and sports a blend of sharpen filters for crisper and better-looking textures without over-doing it.

There are Dark Souls 3 mods that dilute its difficulty. And then there are Dark Souls 3 mods like TKGP's Enemy Onslaught. Which essentially turns Lothric into a Royal Rumble-style free for all. Yeah, good luck with that.
Enemy Onslaught does this by duplicating enemies—both run of the mill baddies and end-of-zone bosses—and by removing the event IDs of clones. In turn, this lets reproduced bosses leave their designated arenas (something standard bosses cannot do), and also allows swarms of friendly NPC summons to lend a hand.

It's the original game, not the Redux version, but hey, it's free. Are you really going to complain?

My GPU is glitching when it reaches and mantains high temperatures for a while, so I'm sticking with older titles for now :/

But I'm still not going to upgrade for ~ 18 months or so, until the 7 nm goodies and hopefully something interesting from AMD.

Yeah ,I got a Metro 2033 for free .
