Electronic Arts said today that Battlefield 5's "Firestorm" battle royale mode won't be available until the spring of 2019, several months after the game is released.
EA revealed the wait in an update that lays out Battlefield 5's "live service journey through the Second World War," which will begin in December with Overture. The first chapter in the game's Tides of War updates will feature a new tank-focused map called Panzerstorm, The Last Tiger single-player mission, and the addition of a practice range.

Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser is glad the studio's next game is Red Dead Redemption 2, because he wouldn't want to release a new Grand Theft Auto game in the era of Donald Trump. In an interview with GQ, Houser said the current political environment in the US has made it "really unclear what we would even do with it, let alone how upset people would get with whatever we did."

Arma 4 isn't in development, but Arma 3 won't be the end of the series
https://www.pcgamer.com/arma-4-release-date/
Arma 3 won't be the last we'll play of the milsim series, but it's too early to tell what form a hypothetical Arma 4 would take, says developer Bohemia Interactive.
Speaking to PC Gamer via email, brand and PR manager Korneel van 't Land said that the studio's goal right now is "to keep Arma 3 fresh and exciting for at least several more years" as it balances development on several other projects. Bohemia says it would like to continue the series beyond Arma 3, but doesn't have any plans to share about a sequel right now.

Super Meat Boy is getting a new multiplayer "Race Mode" later this week, allowing players to, you guessed it, race through the game's levels. Previously exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, the mode has two sub-modes: 'Normal' lets players choose where they'll race and whether they want to include Dark levels, while 'Random', as the name suggests, throws up levels at random.

PUBG's 'One Gun Warrior' event mode removes weapon spawns from Erangel

My valiant attempt at fists-only victory in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds went up in smoke. Perhaps I'll fare better in this week's limited-time event mode, which also asks players to commit to one method of attack. The catch? It removes weapon spawns from the map entirely.

Monster Squad Games was founded by former Runic head Marsh Lefler, as well as Patrick Blank, Allen Fong, and John Dunbar, who also held senior positions at the developer. It is currently eight-strong, with most of the staff made up of former developers at either Runic or Borderlands developer Gearbox, including art director Wes Parker, who was a senior character artist on Borderlands 2.
