A number of Warner Bros. "classics" are the basis for the new Humble Bundle, beginning with Scribblenauts Unlimited, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition, and Batman: Arkham Origins, which you can pick up for as low as $1.

Origin's Halloween Sale has Battlefield 1 and the season pass for $5

Electronic Arts has kicked off a Scary Savings Sale on Origin, with deals on games including Vampyr, Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition, Madden NFL 19, Duskers, and Beholder. One deal that's particularly noteworthy is Battlefield 1, which is available for $5—88 percent off the regular $40 price.
That's a good deal, but what really seals the deal is that the Premium Pass, which includes the They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse expansion, is free. That's a whole lot of Battlefield for a fiver, and a considerably better deal that the BF1 Revolution edition, which adds the Red Baron and Lawrence of Arabia packs, three vehicle skins, and five Battlepacks, for twice the price.
The Scary Savings Sale is live now, but somewhat oddly there's no word on how long it will run so you might want to give it a look while you can. EA also said that a seven day free trial of Origin Access will be available from October 25-31.

Dimension of the Boomed is a new Doom 2 mod that recreates the aesthetics & visual style of Quake

Modder ‘Urthar’ has released a brand new mod for Doom 2, called Dimension of the Boomed. Dimension of the Boomed is an short episode for Doom II in the style of Quake, featuring 7 playable maps, designed in Boom format, with custom monsters and effects.
Basically, this mod borrows all the Quake textures in order to create some levels that have the same visual style and aesthetics with id Software’s first real 3D first-person shooter. The end result is really cool and the mod supports both single-player and co-op modes.
This mod is also compatible with QC: Doom Edition; a mod featuring all the weapons from Quake Champions as well as a mix of monsters from Doom, Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 4. As such, we strongly suggest using that too in order to get better Quake-vibes from it.

GTA 5 NaturalVision Remastered graphics overhaul mod now live

As reported earlier this week, GTA 5's best visual overhaul mod is back for its final stunning update. NaturalVision Remastered's final iteration is now available to download from GTA 5 Mods.
"The new update for NaturalVision Remastered is now available for download," says mod creator Razed. "Thank you for supporting this project. Your feedback and comments have kept me motivated over the past two years.
"Unfortunately, this is the last major update. I am burned out after putting thousands of hours into this game. I still plan on releasing smaller updates in the future as there are a few things I didn't get a chance to finish.

EA Sports has released a massive new update for FIFA 19. According to the release notes, this patch allows players to make changes to their Game Plans in the Pause Menu during a match and, while using the Balanced Game Plan, swapping players in the Pause Menu during a match will now apply those changes to the other Game Plans.

I’m pretty sure that some gamers have been wondering about the server tickrates of Battlefield 5, especially after the revelation of the awful server tickrates for Call of Duty Black Ops 4. It appears that the source codes for the Nintendo 64 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy and for the Playstation 1 and PC versions of Mortal Kombat 3 have been leaked online. Now this is strictly illegal and as such we won’t allow any links to the files (they are real as some users have already been able to compile them and run them).
