god why such a short cable to load the controller? i already hate that with my ps3 since i don't sit only one meter away of my console while playing. is it so hard to make the cable 3 meters or so?

Its convenient to be able to just plug in the controller and charge it but it's annoying as hell if you forget. Basically its unplayable when charging since you have to be within 2 feet of the TV.
