This rule is out there because users like VGKing would say reported in a thread multiple times.  It is annoying and pointless.  It basically is spam.

Also you shouldn't be calling users ignorant as it is a flaming opinion.  I'm well aware of your post history and you have a lot of posts that are very opinionated and yes people will get annoyed with that.  You are blaming mods for trying to keep peace simply because you yourself are unable to contribute to a peaceful community as you are constantly on the offensive.

Telling someone that they are ignorant isnt really flaming.

Being ignorant is essentially lacking knowledge on a specific subject. If to say someone is ignorant is flaming, then to say "You dont know what youre talking about" is flaming. Calling someone a fuckhead is flaming.

We are all ignorant on something. We are not all fuckheads.

Disagree.  If I call your post blatant ignorance because I disagree is just an opinion and it is also attacking that user.  Just because you don't agree with someone does not mean they are being ignorant and you can surely present your disagreement with them in a better manner than that.

You can do all of those. Just depends on how you do it.

Reason for my last ban "First off, don't say "reported" when you report someone, simply report them and move on." so obviously, no you can't. If this wasn't an issue it wouldn't be noted.

What carl said about ignorant.

Also, I would like to add that I don't think you know what offensive means. My ban in response to calling Sony fans liars would be defensive. My ban telling someone they are offtopic and reported is defensive. My ban calling users ignorant is defensive

Well just saying "Reported" and not being on topic might of been the reason.

I say "Reported" and usually say something related to the topic on hand or a counter to their response on the topic.

Gotta work around the system.

Edit: Although calling someone ignorant - I gotta side with the mods on their decision, now if they would only warn a certain user who calls religious people irrational ;p.

If only religious people were treated like users and a certain user was forced to observe others beliefs as they do his.

Are you sure it's VGKing who overuses that word? Isn't Kowen the guy who spams it all the time?

Can't tell someone you reported them.

Actually you can, about 95% of all my reports I actually told the person while the other 5% were bots and no need to quote them.

"from Kresnik, to KHlover on 01 June 2013  [...]:

- Try not to put "reported for trolling" at the end of a post. I understand why you do it but it just tends to rile other people up. Not going to give you a formal warning or anything, though ^.^"

I actually was encouraged not to tell people I reported them, even if I did so in a post which contained actual content.

I mean offensive by your general post history, not your ban history.

Saying someone is reported is spam.  Just report and move on or else we will have those situations where people say reported multiple times in a thread again.  I will get an example up if i can find one, been a while since that thread.  Calling people ignorant is offensive even if they said something offensive themselves.  As I said, you can surely say something to them in a better manner than that even if you do believe they are ignorant.

You can call someone ignorant, you just need to explain why they are ignorant to whatever it is youre debating. (I did... The CEO dismissed the claims on numerous occasions...)

Positive.  I am the one who asked a mod to stop this stuff because of VGking

A fine idea.

from Kantor, to JayWood2010 on 26 April 2013(Delete Message)

I've warned VGKing to stop posting "reported" every time he reports someone. Hopefully he will stop.

from JayWood2010 on 26 April 2013Thanks. I appreciate it.

Only things about reporting in the forum rules, "Report it when another user insults you instead of insulting them back. If they report you and no one reported their post, guess which one of you gets banned? The moderators do not have time to read every post in a thread, so they will often miss things that are not reported" "Reporting Content. If you think a thread or post needs moderator attention then you can let us know by clicking "report this post" and telling us what the problem is. If things need to go further, send a PM to any of our fine moderators"

As for being offensive, so the fuck what? We are banning people due to unbannable posts from their post history?
