I loved the original Metal Gear Solid game, but I don't know if I want another remake of MGS1. I would much rather see MG1 & 2 remake than MGS again.

+ 10! I have been saying that for YEARS. I'd much rather see a remake of those games. A young Snake (very naive) working under Big Boss and then (well ... you know the rest). I would gladly support remakes of those.

Also I believe a remake of those titles could bring a lot more to the table than an MGS remake could. The gameplay would be new (for those games) and it would be an entire new way to experience those games. On the other hand, an MGS remake would basically have better graphics and not much more.

I'd prefer an MG and MG2 remake, but still. MGS1 remake on PS4? HOLY SHIT.

That's how I see it. The jump from MG and MG2 to this gen would resonate much more than MGS1/MGS TS since they were done relatively recently. Plus, I just want to see the emotion, the interaction between certain characters, Snake's face when he did what he did  and his reaction to finding out his relation to certain characters. It would be epic on next gen consoles. If they choose to do MGS remake after then I am fine with it, but they should not ignore the MG games.

100% agree with you.

I see. Thanks for the reply. I loved all those things. I borrowed PS1 copy of the original from a friend and it felt so lackluster after playing Twin Snakes.

OT: I don't think i'll be rebuying this. There is only so much entertainment time one can spend on same old game with new fresh coat of paint.

So you never had the true MGS feeling

What's Ninja movement's?

My mistake... The Matrix movements... not Ninja

"Solid Snake backflips off an incoming missile, or dodges a rather large section of the roof that Gray Fox has cut off and kicked at Snake."

lol lol lol

There so much mistakes in Twin Snakes that I can't even start to listen them.

I dont want it, we already had a remake. How about actually remaking the original Metal Gear...not Solid. That makes more sense since 5 seems to be leading right to that game anyway. Solid's first mission as never seen before?

If they make the game bigger (bigger areas); and change/add gameplay mechanics then it would make sense. but considering the game can be finished in 3 hrs I really dont know if I would buy it if it is just a new coat of paint.

I just expected anything close to Twin Snakes in terms of ghanges in gameplay

well if it costs $30 I might buy it.  But if it is $60 nope.  Would wait for a massive price cut down the road.
