Its especially useless as their most buzz worthy game at E3 Titanfall will be on the PC and will no doubt turn out to be the superior experience. Even Halo makes it to PC eventually. Though for me that's not worth my time anyways.

The last Halo game on PC was Halo 2, do a simple google search before you make yourself look stupid.

Also what is buzz worthy to you is not public opinion. Other people with differing opinions might have found other games more exciting.

well, the x1 seems necessary as the OP even noted there are games that will only be available on the x1. If those games interest you, buying the x1 is the only way to play them.

People should buy the systems that interest them. Honestly, most people don't even care that much about the first party exclusives, as they primarily play the third party games like Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, or Madden. These exclusive game arguments only really matter on internet forums were people seem to have some kind of vested interest in the success or failures of a console.

well i agree, but for me i might just get pc (since i already have wiiu). im not a huge xbox fan, dispite have both of micosoft systems so there exclusives dont really effect me.

Seeing the OP mention owning 3 platforms........its kinda unrealistic for the average gamer, who would just own 1 console per generation. I think MANY core gamers who get multiple platforms neglect this mentality of single console ownership per gen.

Because if you just want one console, X1 seems the best equipped out of the 3. The multiplats/3rd party support alone give it a big edge on WiiU and the exclusives are great and you get many games that have a PC version as well. But considering many dont game on their PC this is just another plus for X1 for being extremely varied in its offerings from a single console perspective.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

This gen has been the first tiem I've had a PC powerful enough to run all the games without thinking on the tech specs, and I've ended up buying most of the third party games on it.

And that's what I plan to do with this next gen: get almost every third party game on PC, and then get 1 or 2 consoles for its exclusives and those rare third partys that won't appear on PC (I'm looking at you Rockstar/Red Dead Redemption).

So far I'm on the verge of upgrading my PC (CPU and mobo, I'll probably keep my GPU until Nvidia/AMD launch their next architectures) and I already have a WiiU. So now it's only a matter of which real exclusives get the PS4/X1 to decide which one, if any, I'll get (and by now the PS4 wins).

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Tonka trucks are best toy ever no need to buy anything else ever!

hmm I don't do heavy pc gaming in general. So if I want the xbox exclusives, I would go for the one.

Just curious, what makes you say the X1 is the best equipped?  If you were going to for the best equiped gaming platform it would pretty clearly be PC, but I'm a console gamer.

Id say X1 because it shares many great titles with PC, but also has a growing number of exclusives. Best of both worlds, and just one platform.

That said, I am a console gamer and thus have a bias for consoles. X1 shares more multiplats with PC then PS4 does, making X1 a better choice for single console gamers.

Gotcha, so you're saying the games on the X1 suit you better than the games on PS4.  That's fair, I thought you were basing your choice on the platform power/ capabilities, that's why I was confused.
