I would have seriously considered Day 1 (now the DRM is gone) if Remedy had been doing Alan Wake 2... loved the first (and expansions).. and its a real shame that MS dropped the ball. I really think AW2 would have performed a lot better.

The other game would be Dead Rising. I originally purchased an Xbox for DR1... but after two and the expansion, I've found the gameplay (especially the timer part and respawning zombies becoming a pain)... it might be because Dead Island has kinda done it better since then...but if i do buy an xbox late next year, those would have been the two.

They've only released 1 full game in the last 10 years and it scored a 83% on metacritic -  Alan Wake.

Then 1 remake for ios, and a dlc pack.

I believe his statement makes a hell of a lot more sense than yours.

Anyway, replace Quantum Break with Sunset Overdrive, Remedy with Insomniac, and "They've only released 1 full game in the last 10 years and it scored a 83% on metacritic - Alan Wake" with "Their last games released scored a 63% - Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault and another with a 61% - Fuse".


If you took my two comments seperately like they were intended then you wouldn't have wasted my time now.

"Remedy. Nuff said." is not justified. My post stands.

I have a right to not be excited by a game with no gameplay vids shown. And I didn't like Alan Wake. The pacing irritated me. And the writing believe it or not.

So there's no pobbibility of me being sarcastic here.

And I respect that. But he has the right to be excited by a game with no gameplay vids shown too, and he was replying the user about how could he be excited. He is because of the company. Perhaps you don't like the company either, but you didn't say so. Then you didn't say "well, I didn't like Alan Wake, so I don't think that because of Remedy is enough reason", but you used Metacritic, instead.

I merely replied you the same way. Sunset Overdrive has not shown gameplay despite its style and substance. And the last game of Insomniac scored a 61% a Metacritic.

 

There was a posibility, but of course. Now that you've stated that you didn't like Alan Wake, that's different.
