If the ps3 has taught us anything, it should be never count out Sony. looking back at that necro'd thread reminds me of the time we all thought the ps3 would get discontinued and look at where it is now.

The problem is, I don't think this is going to sell the vita. I think it will make buyers happier with their purchase.

So how come sony just doesnt allow people to use the vita as the controller since it can already do the remote play thing

believe or not, the remote play functionality is the reason I am still keeping my vita, holding myself not to sell it.

This is my single most wanted feature.

No more having to move the hardware around if someone is on the TV, just turn on Remote Play and start up my game on my Vita. Hell yes.

Despite it's lack of popularity, I think the actual hardware of the Vita is pretty impressive (my brother has one). The funny thing is, I've had PS Plus for a while now, and I feel like sooner or later I'm going to get a Vita because of all the games I already have access to (not to mention that I'm really interested in Tearaway).

Vita will become PS4-U, or Playstation for you.
