I hate all these abbreviations for games, especially when It's for a game I've never heard of and I suspect others here also have problems knowing that the hell people are on about sometimes.

At least have the full name of the game in the thread title.

Any chance the rules can be enforced or if not at least remove the rule...

thank you for posting this! theres a lot of acronyms i don't know yet.

I'm guitly of some like GTA4, but for unknown games i type them out.

I'm sure it's not beyond a mod to edit the forum topic when abbreviations are used.
There are after all a lot of mods for a site that really isn't that busy and I'm not sure what most actually do!!!

I always get confused when people uses the GOW thing if i haven't read carefully the thread 'cause both God of War and Gears of war are famous games people uses the abbreviation GOW a lot :P

Usually what I try to do (sometimes i forget) is to make sure I have the full name spelled out the first time I mention a game in a post, and then I abbreviate it every use thereafter.
