It isn't a Star Trek *or* King Of The Hill reference (i don't really like Kirk-era Trek much anyway, prefer TNG or Voyager), though i do watch KOTH almost daily since i got fired after Memorial Day.

The name's origin dates back to Phantasy Star Online, one of my first forays in establishing an internet identity. My first character, a Force, was named after a school nickname of mine. My second, a Hunter, was Ghengis Khan, based off my then-obsession with historical figures from The History Channel (ironically, my interest in Mongol history came about *because* of my adoption of Mongol names online). When the online-enabled Nintendo DS came around, "Ghengis Khan" was too long, so it was truncated to "Mr. Khan," then the period was dropped subsequently in my time on Joystiq due to formatting problems.

I always thought Badgenome was a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann reference, a play on Lordgenome

Always thought Ryan wanted us to splurge or splooge on him then I clicked on VGC Facebook page (back when I still had an account) when VGC was down and realized it was his last name. He was going through VGC withdraws and spamming the VGC Facebook page.

Andrespetmonkey - I assumed this person has or know someone with a pet monkey. 

spurgeonryan - for the longest time I read it as spurgeoyan, so it just looked like gibberish. I'm still not sure what it means.

Gilgamesh - I have no idea

Mr. Khan - China/Korea

sethnintendo - huge Ninty fan

badgenome - only now did I just realize that this spells "bad genome", and not "badge nome".

Boutros - sounds like the name of a butler

I don't because every time I look at anyone's username I misread it and afterwards get it right. But some them are pretty funny mistakes from time to time.

Ex. Some times I see sethnintendo as sellnintedo, spurgeonryan as spongeryan, and cmeese47 as well cheese47  (which is funny to me because I picture some guy asking Agent 47 from Hitman to smile to take a picture of him)....so yeah :/

badgenome - I just realized that it was bad genome too. I always thought it was a supposed to be a hybrid of a badger and knome.

seth nintendo- just going by the name- a street fighter fan who loves nintendo.

Lister of Smeg. I always thought it was a jab at Smeags, involving the word Smegma.

It seems I wasn't too far off.
