I do not agree. MGS5 looks great, but I'd put games like X, Uncharted 2/3, The Last of Us, and God of War Ascension above it visually.


Im a huge Sony fanboy, but lets face it MGSV is better looking than any current gen game out there (maybe only challanged by Watch Dogs) The level of detail in an open world, the characters, animations, faces its all top notch.

Again, I don't agree.

did you see the last faceoff on digitail foundry, resident evil revalations was the ugliest and wirst running version, next up assain creed 4 and watch dogs.

Oh I did, and it runs on MT Framework which has been on the other consoles for 6+ years so I wasn't even surprised. Let's see if Ubisoft actually will bother with it though.

We aren't talking about Metal Gear, we're talking about Bayonetta.

The question is clearly asking whether these games, in their current state, could run on PS3/360. The answer is no for Bayonetta 2 and X, but probably yes for Mario Kart, unless Kart fills up more than 512MB of RAM.

At the end of the day, 1GB of RAM for games is a lot more than <500MB, and the Wii U GPU is several GPU generations ahead of the ones in the PS3 and 360. And we've barely seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of what the Wii U can do, it's still in its infancy.


I don't thikn PS360 could run MK8. It looks substantiall better than the Sonic racing games did, for example. Which is why I said I was surprised by just how good it looks.

MGS Rising doesn't even run in 60 FPS, it hovers inbetween 40-50FPS..... and in much smaller areas.....
