Given how worried I have been about the games industry recently; although this certainly doesn't kill every worry I have, it's still a very reassuring thing to hear.

That's the internet for you I guess. A friend of mine suggested that the Phantom Pain's character looked like Snake in MGS  (back at the reveal), and people didn't bother with him, and later when people pieced it together and realized it was related to MGS .... nothing happened lol

surely amazon's pre-orders are WW to VGCz US..

and surely their peak didn't last 48 minutes (the amount of time it would take to outrack our numbers)

meh, preorders can be easily changed and cancelled.

These are all based on impatient, emotional based decisions.

I am with Pachter that the bone and the PS4 will greatly out sell the Wii U. The lack of interest in the Wii U I still believe is a percieved too close similarity to the PS3 and 360 not just a lack of games. Nothing will change that for the Wii U.
