Sounds unnecessary. To get the full Dead Rising 3 experience you need a $500 Xbox One, a $60 Gold sub, the $60 game and a $500 iPad.(or $329 for the mini) That amounts to $970-$1200. It's ridiculous.

*iPad is the most popular tablet out there which is why I used it as an example.
*Xbox Live Gold sub is most likely required to use Smartglass

Not everyone has a tablet. Not everyone wants one. Not everyone wants to use it even if they do have one.

I wonder how many people genuinely care for such features.

Maybe I'm out of touch with mainstream and/or core, but it seems like a waste of time to implement.

This sounds great, I am looking forward to a lot of smartglass stuff.

What? Smartglass is available on android, ios and windows phone. This should cover a lot of users.
