Forums - Gaming - PS4 vs Xbox One: Part 1-The Games

Which has a better Roster of Games?

PS4 253 47.83%

Xbox One 198 37.43%

Waiting for More Games to be Announced 77 14.56%

Total:528

I personally prefer PS4's exclusives but the Xbox has a decent set too.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

I only bought a 360 for those two games and multiplats, while I bought exclusives on the PS3. Xbone wont be my multiplat console any longer because it wont be playing multiplats better.

I don't get it. Why didn't you bought more exclusives for the 360?

PS4 side looks meaty until you research it and see a big bulk of it is timed exclusive indie titles and F2P titles, some of which have been out on PC for months. Surely Sony has something else in the works?

Xbone not much more impressive imho but it is the side that has Titanfall so it wins in a blowout for me.

Since you bolded and underlined some of my post, I went ahead and fixed your quote to fully include the relevant parts of my comment.

Last I checked Titanfall is neither a timed exclusive indie title, and hasn't been out on PC for months.

Because past 2008 it no longer had a competitive list of exclusives going up against the PS3.  The best years of the 360 were from 2005-2008 (within the infamous two years Sony supposedly had no games) and then it was over (and those gamers were either third party timed exclusives or PC ports too just like Microsofts unveiling). It was Gears, Halo on a two year cycle until Kinect came out and even that continued. Microsofts studios barely created any exclusives worth talking about. Fable was getting worse and worse. The best Fable was part one on the original Xbox. I felt like I had been had by Molyneux because he built that franchise to be much more than it was. I just went back to the Witcher 2 and Dragonage on my 360.

Well, don't worry about Fable then. There's the anniversary coming.

LOL Its so sad....the nostalgia of that first game is going to make even the modern ones look bad.

They both are pretty decent looking so far. KZ: Shadow fall and InFamous SS for PS4 appeal to me most. And Quantum Break and Ryse on the Xbox One side.

And I aslo agree the Xbox One list looks better, BUT I feel it had to because MS was not really known for a lot of exclusive games and first party games. So they have more NEW games because they had not announced ANYTHING before E3 where as Sony had already done so. AND they still have more games to show later on as well. So bravo to them for stepping up more on the games front.

But can't count Sony out because they still have lots to show from developers like ND, SSM, MM, GG(2nd project) etc at Gamescon and TGS(according to them anyway) so we will see how things play out.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

I kinda never understood why people didn't like the second one (Yeah, the third one was pretty mediocre), except maybe because it was easy or that it didn't live up to the hype. It was a pretty great adventure game with RPG things mixed up in it, if you ask me.

Second game was decent, but it held your hand to the point where I wasnt being challenged at all. The ending to the second game was just ridiculous and I thought Molyneux was playing a trick on me since he boasted about the games being revolutionary. The revolutionized casualizing the RPG genre. I never really died once in that game, whereas in Fable 1 I died a couple times at least and had a challenge. I got up and learned from my mistakes and became a smarter gamer even though I went evil. >:)-

Part Three was just ridiculous.

I will not even comment on Fable Journey.

Just for the sake of it, you forgot one Fable
