Yo!

So.. GameTrailers has only handed out 9.8 as their highest score.

In 2007, Halo 3 and Super Mario Galaxy was given 9.8.
In 2008, GTAIV was given 9.8.
From 2009 to 2012, none have achieved that accolade.

Until today. The Last of Us just recieved a 9.8 from GT.

EDIT: Another fun thing is that our own site here at VGC also gave it 9.8. No game has ever gotten that high here XD

No chance at all. 94 is more likely than it keeping 95 so let's just hope it stays put :P

But I can't recall too many games that have gotten this amount of praise from so many known and famous sites (Hate them or not, still click url to see the topic) =>

 Unfortunately, that's extrememly unlikely, with all the post-release hipster reviewers in the industry. Guys who wait until the dust settlers for a game's metacritic and, if it's good, just have to run to try and bring it down because that makes them feel unique, somehow. I'm looking at you, Polygon...  

On that note, amazing game, another great work from ND. Very deserving of the praise it's recieved.

It is a great game, so this comes as no real surprise. I don't know if it will be the highest rated game this year Metacritic-wise, but it will likely win most GOTY awards.

Probably half way through now (maybe more) and it's amazing so far. I don't get why people don't like cutscenes. I get very excited every time a cutscene starts rolling. :p

Anyway it doesn't even have that much cutscenes.
