War is a difficult thing. I dont think any of us would be able to give an accurate answer unless we had been in such a scenario during such an era. Chances are if you were german you had to conform with the majority or face treason charges. There is little anyone could've done. Just gestures here and there that wouldnt put you at risk.

going against your own country asks more courage than ppl know

Well a jewish guy i know who went on a holiday to German said he was treated like royalty because a lot of people feel bad what happened to jews during WW2.

Not sure if he was exaggerating or not, but if true I think the descendants of the people are already doing good.

Who knows, maybe I would have even been swayed by the propaganda, like most Germans back then. It was crazy times. But I think I'd rather have lived in Nazi Germany than in Stalinist Russia.

If I give my honest opinion about it I'll likely get banned.

Lol, yes. Best you don't!

We would have been raised to be Nazi's from youth. It's not if you where, it's you where. You'd accept that way of life and accepting it with ease just like you do with your own life now.

Would you still know right from wrong?

Yes but your view of right and wrong would be different being bought up in a different society.

I guess a lot of people wouldn't have even known about the camps.

They probably just thought Hitler was good for the country as he seemed to be fixing the economy and bringing Germany back to their former glory.

i don't think most Germans knew what was really going on in the camps, and due to the propaganda and circumstances they probably didn't even want to know too much about it.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Sadly true. At least in Hitler's Germany you had a fairly clear idea of who they were going to take away and for what reason.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

If you were German you would of though what Hitler did was for the better good. People were desperate and followed anyone who was strong and appeared to show hope.

Personally, i would of tried to desert. Why fight in a war that is started by people who have no intention to fight themselves? They don't care about the population anyways. It's just started to try to achieve political aims normally from a misunderstanding of the situation

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I would have argued against it, primarily because I distrust angry people, just like the current angry mob in america.
