This may sound mean, but everytime I play Sly Cooper, I wish Sony lost the right to this franchise and became a Nintendo IP instead. I feel the franchise will be in better care on Nintendo hands. Seriously, there wasn't one TV AD for Sly Cooper, but when there's a God of War or Uncharted, you'll never hear the end of it, but they are million dollar seller so would make sense. I just want characters like Sly, Crash Bandicoot or Banjo to get more love. I'm tire of seeing realistic video game characters getting attention just because they look realistic. Now due to poor selling and marketing, there may not be a Sly 5, which is depressing. Knack will definitely get some attention to sell the PS4 and maybe even Tearaway, but I sort of fear for Puppetear success.

I don't see it being any better in the hands of Nintendo.

Ehhh. If Thieves in Time were developed by Sucker Punch, it would have been a much better game. As for the advertising, that is the only thing that has to do with Sony.

I don't see it, Sucker Punch is now the propriety of Sony.


Except if Nintendo Buy Sly for alot of buck, I don't see it happenning.

It would be neglected on Nintendos platforms and they wouldn't know what to do with it... Sly actually has personality unlike Mario, Link, DK, Luigi, Kirby ect ect...

Similarly, I would be fine if let's say Custom Robo was a Namco IP cause they make a lot of Robot games.

But ... do you take any issue with the quality of the games? It's not like Sonic with Sega before. I find they are great. It is true Sony could have marketed the last game better, but remember, that was the 'old Sony' with the crappy marketing team. Let's see how they do now.

True that it would get more attention on a Nintendo console, like Max said Nintendo is not very capable of giving their characters tangible attitude, so I doubt them doing a good job with this unless they had a Sony Studio help them with it.
