| ethomaz said: Yeap... I saw that days ago... the official specs in the Sony Store site have the A/V analog out. |
And still this says it doesn't which my thread based on: http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/pdf/130611a_e.pdf
But obviously is isn't an issue for most.

Technically this pdf didn't say that PS4 didn't have a analog AV output

It also doesn't (present time, the pdf is still not changed) say it doesn't support firewire but it surely doesn't :) Generally spec-sheets tell you what hardware is capable of and not what it's not capable of.

Says analog A/V output, so of course. :) Wouldn't make sense otherwise.
I need analog audio output to more easily connect the system to my Hi-Fi. If I use a pass-through it degrades the audio quality.
This just keeps getting more and more awesome. :D

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Now I can game in my third world province!
Well, this only will glad some niche Fighting gamers, those that still uses CRT Monitors or Tv to play because it give less lag input that most of the LCD/LED ones... but recently there are some great ones with barely any videolag...

Specifically, the Sony representative said “The information on our website is correct.”.... Looks like Sony is copying Nintendo not Microsoft.

nope. The information on their website does not mention analog outputs.

Reading Sony's actual tech pages on the console and its devices and its pretty clear the AUX port is just for the new PSEye.
EDIT: not sure why but Sony page takes awhile to load. What it says is the specs for "A/V" only state Optical and HDMI while the specs for the camera state it uses the proprietary "AUX" port.

There are some confusion... this picture was taken from the same place that you link.

The preorder page the same...

Or they changed the PlayStation Page today... or there are something wrong.

well then fuck, sony just saved me $400 or whatever. maybe i'll get a ps4 this year after all.
it's been an expensive year already. just replaced the computer, have to replace the wife's tv (no longer displays blue), and i though i had to replace the reciever before my next console. soo much electronics.
