Great intro but it goes downhill from there.

Tess running around really does break the immersion. One of the most eye rolling game design choices in recent years. Hopefully it gets better when she dies.

this is just the intro. the rest of the game isnt like that. you have cut scenes yeah, but a lot of the story actually progresses while playing.

Its not just cutscenes but also shit like playing as the kid walking around groggy looking at newspapers and shit. I remember in AW scenes walking around and turning on a coffee machine on and blabbing with his wife about stuff. I cant deal with it.

Trust me, that's just the foundation of Joel's character in the actual game, those types of things are all optional once the real game starts =D

Just started playing the game.. I must have to say the atmosphere they built up for the opening sequence is chaotic.. i would give 10/10 just for the amazing opening sequence.. never felt so much connected to a game since FF9. Its leaps and bound over the opening sequence of Uncharted 2.. ND out did themselves..

Just going for through the tutorial section.. and the first Kill in quarantine is just plain brutal.. I felt for that guy!

Why would you want to spoil the start of the game for everyone who hasn't played the game yet. This thread should be locked or the video removed.

a special Shout out to Gustavo Santaolalla for the epic score in a video game ever, never ever a music suited a game this perfectly... First sequence made me damn sad.. I dont how someone would carry on.. But as soon as the title started with that score, it just gave me the chills and the push to continue more..

P.S. DARE i say if the ending is anywhere near what the start was... i can easily say for me this game will be "The Dark Knight" of gaming.. (havent seen citizen and Kane :D)

Now 13 hours in, I would recommend this to anyone who has just a little bit of patience. It's not going to appeal to people who just want your typical run and gunner, but for everyone who likes a great story and great gameplay (oh and stupendous graphics!) buy this game!

You dont have to watch the video since its obvious that any video would feature spoilers at this point....also its the beginning of the game, not like its the ending which is worse.

Then put a spoiler warning on it. The opening of this game is just as important and incredible as the end of the game. People will just click on it thinking it's an official teaser trailer, which is what I thought it would be.
