There ain't some twist in the game that reveals the main guy as being Nathan Drake by any chance is there?

Nah, Drake is too busy eating people :)

Well I don't think there is anything in the game that specifically proves that he isn't... I guess the settings timewise would not add up, the majority of the Last of Us takes place 15 years after the apocalypse which takes place around 15 years after Joel/Nate has a baby. Given that the age of his daughter isn't specified let's just assume a 15 year gap. His daughter is blonde...

On the other hand, the newspaper in the bar in Uncharted 3 suggested that the outbreak was going to start soon and clearly isn't set 15 years ago

Saw all cutscenes in one youtube video :P

Got pissed off at story direction at end........you take a mission to deliver the girl to the Fireflies, you KNOW shes immune, what do you think they are gonna do to her once they have her??? His ignorance was annoying.

Yet he grows a conscience and acts all disbelieving when they say she has to die to get the vaccine. He literally gives up the cure for humanity to cling to a new daughter figure. The way he also mercilessly/unecessarily killed the firefly leader bugged me.

I did like the end where he totally lies to her to keep their bond in tact

Selfish, wasn't it? I did like the ending though.

Selfish, but mostly ignorant for not piecing together why Firefly doctors would want to have a immune human........

First off AMAZING game, for sure one of my favorite games, all time. But im very torn with the ending. On one side its great and the other I hate it. I hate it because Joel lies to Ellie for in my opinion is a very selfish reason. Come on man she might be the key to stop the infection that might end up wiping out the human race. But Naughty dog did a very good job connecting you with them and I almost understand why he did it, I almost feel his pain and connection with this girl. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I was Joel...Without rambling to much I love the ending. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson better win some awards. And how about Nolan North, what a great job with the voice work all around.

Thats the beauty of the Last of Us - nothing is black and white. There are no ''good'' and ''bad'' guys. Hell, the whole fight with David and his crew was provoked by Ellie and Joel

I assumed that the battle he was referencing was the one at the University, where the hunters clearly shot first. I am not sure there was actually a case where Joel and Ellie were the ones who started the fight, unless they were clearly enemies

If they hadnt shot first, I still think they would clash in violence. It always did. I was talking about after she got locked up in David's cell. He was clearly nice to her, but she was quite agressive towards him. If she acted differently theres no telling how things would have turned out

During the gameplay, (in Boston in think) they both thought they were just gonna ''take a blood sample or something''. He had no reason to believe she would have to die in order to get the cure.

No, but Nolan North does make an appearance in the game, though not as Nathan Drake
