Will without question be bundled with Wii U. 20 million is quite possible.

You're right, somehow I hadn't even considered that. That definitely would change things.
too early to tell. It all depends on how well Nintendo advertises this and how much the wiiu's userbase grows.
Hard to say, largely depends on attach rate and lifetime sales of the Wii U. I'd say somewhere around 11-13 million given that the franchise retains the current attach rate.
Well 64, DD, Wii all had about a 1/3 attach ratio and im guessing Wii U will sell 50m so Mario Kart 8 will 15m+
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
Every console Mario Kart except the first one has about the same attach ratio. I expect the WiiU to reach at least 60m lifetime sales so that would put Mario Kart 8 at 20m.
Whatever happens though, it should sell more than 64 and definitely less than Wii.
15 Million at the lowest and 20 Million at the highest.
Mario Kart 7 is tracking ahead of Mario Kart DS and both MKWii and MKDS flew the series into extreme popularity. I don't see how it could fall below the double digits anytime, anymore. Also, Mario Kart 8 will be the biggest game for the Wii U in the Spring, that's for sure.
