Forums - Gaming - Xbox One Graphical Horsepower Post E3!

I heard the Xbox One was using Nvidia instread of AMD to make their games look better from the PC's. Sony had full dev kids powered with AMD at the event confirmed. Something is fishy, but yes XBox One games are expected to look good.

Yeah, it's too expensive vs too expensive. The economic climate back then was better, by the way. People prefer cheaper, which is why the PS3 stalled for so damn long, among other reasons, such as few games being there.

It's a whooping $667 in the Eurozone, by the way. 499.99 Euros, that is. That's even more.

Yet people are still preordering the Xbox One in huge numbers.

Call me crazy.

I won't call you crazy - I'll just mention the fact that the PS4 is getting preordered in numbers that purely trounce the ones of the XB1. It serves to prove many points, and lower price is among them.

Link?

Because the preorder are bigger for PS4 in Gamestop and Amazon... the Gamestop one is like 3 for 1.

So because PS4 are bigger these numbers cannot be huge for Xbox One?
I do not understand your logic.

Also it is kind of expected at GameStop :)

No one is saying that the Xone wont sell, but it wont sell like crazy.
Ps4 will outsell the Xone. Honestly I don't get all this fuss. If people don't like the xbox then don't buy it and vice versa.
Its all about the games. All this my console is better stuff is just childish.

Oh you heard that :) That they were doing that "on purpose" to make them look better?
The only thing I saw is that they are using a PC instead of Xbox One at E3 (which is kind of expected).

Yes and those PC's were said to have been running NVidia since they didnt bring their dev kits to E3 like Sony.

All sony's games where actually running on devkits. So to say its expected? When did we start expecting these things?

Okay not sure there is much point responding to this since you are clearly delusional.

Ryse doesn't look like a movie. It looks like a glorified tech demo that you control. Like all of Crytecs games.

And I don't think talking to your console is going to impress people anymore. Siri goes against the argument that you are trying to make. People will have already tried it. So if a gimick is what you are trying to use to sell the console, people will want a new gimick. Not one they could use for the last 2 years.

I'll admit I want the xbone to fail so I hope they go with the advertising you are proposing. Just to push it off the cliff altogether. Or they remove all the DRM crap and I'll be happy for it to do well.

Well you don't see the possibilities like I do.

You will see what I was talking about later this year.

Anyway by that time you won't even remember me telling you any of this.

The Xbox One will do extremely well.

How do I know this?

Despite all the negative, Xbox One preorders are flying through the roof.

Call me a fool.

I just go of facts and common sense.

Fact, people are preordering the Xbox One as I am typing this.

Fact, despite all the negativity in the media people will still buy the Xbox One because I don't know.

Halo 5

Gears of War 4

Ryse

Forza 5

Titan Fall

......and many more games despite the whole used games thing.

Call me crazy I am just going of common sense.

Of course it is being preordered. The PS4 is getting more preorders. Doesn't mean much. It just means the initial shipment will sell out. It's what happens after that. That will tell what people really think of the xbone.

I think you are underestimating just how much negativity is surrounding xbox right now.

Gears of war wont be coming out anytime soon on the xbone, it's getting a well deserved break. Halo will be a system seller. Titan Fall and Ryse are new IPs. Titan fall has potential to be big but the first won't be a system seller. Ryse does not. It's a crytec game. They are not a good developer beyond graphics.

Name some more games that will be system sellers so if there is many more.

I never called you a fool or crazy. I called you delusional.

In US? I didn't expected that.

I think if Xbone is having less preorder than PS4 then have can that be huge?

I never said Xbone won't have good sales but huge?

..........and some people will want to know why the Xbox One cost more than the PS4.

In some people's mind higher price usually means better quality.

Some Consumers will want to know why?

*nose-shattering facepalm*

Where were those people when the PS3 came out?

PS3 was $600 at launch.

That extra $100 make a big difference.

No...The PS3's entry price, or cheapest SKU, at launch was $499, just like the Xbox One.  $599 was for the top end SKU.  It's going to be interesting to see how well the One sells at the PS3's launch price, but without the huge PS name backing it up WW.
