But the VGChartz numbers you posted are the most current ones, these are for 30 March.
On the site are also numbers for Wii and DS games.

So Luigi is about a million undertracked here. But Mario Kart is not too bad.
Plus as Barozi said, do these include shipped games? |
Luigi isn't undertracked by a million. >_> 1.22m (Nintendo) vs 821k (VGC)
Nintendo's numbers include shipments + digital sales.

I'll post later DS+Wii games! If anybody wants to do it now be my guess! I'll add it if some1 does!
I'll be back in a few hours! im off to Best Buy

Me too! I just sold my original NES Deluxe set on eBay last week....original owner and complete in box.
Stop hating and start playing.

Even if it is shipped + digital would it hurt for someone to update it in the darn system? Or are you saying vgchartz knows more about Nintendo's sales than Nintendo does? Nintendo comes out with hard facts and excuses are still made.

That's not an excuse at all.
We have a unified database and if you suddenly start to copy and paste shipment numbers and include digital sales for some games, but not for the others, we're getting to a point where comparing sales has absolutely no meaning.
An interesting thread to bring up as I always like seeing more numbers, but as Barozi says, there's little we can draw from this since their number is shipped + digital and it only goes up to March 31st.
On that note, by the way, you might wish to update some of the numbers in the OP since you're comparing VGChartz physical sales up to 1st June to Nintendo shipped + digital to the 31st of March. There's a gap of two months in there.
Aside from that, though, some nice numbers in there.

The numbers on VGChartz are physical copies only and sold to consumers, while Nintendo reports those sold to stores + digital sales. And they can't just change the total values and be done with it.
I used the global numbers form the Game Database for VGChartz.

Actually I'M veeery sure we already discussed the shipments in other threads after Nintendo released these numbers.
ioi didn't fix the numbers though.
I remember Mario Tennis and Paper Mario to be too low and NSMBU and Luigi's Mansion 2 too high. Though latter might have been fixed after some NPD release.
