LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is this real life? is this guy for real? $50 less : /

yeah but you don't need to pay to play online o_O;

and i wouldnt reeally be looking at a wiiu for multiplayer anyways.

Really? you never played MKWii online? You missed the fuck out son!

just on x360, im too much of a graffics whore. at least i can admit it.

pffft you'd be more on the PC side if you were truly a graphics whore like I am, free online play! Also yes I see your sig....

Great value compared to a One and PS4? In what possible way? The Wii U hardware is archaic, One has built-in Kinect and the PS4 is only a mealy 50$ above in price.

It's PR, why would Nintendo announce an incoming price cut and obliterate any momentum Wii U had before the holiday season? I fully expect one come November.

Idk if they afford to lower the price or not. But obviously this means nothing since it's most likely just some PR talk. OBVIOUSLY Moffit can't say ''yes, we are planning to lower the price soon'' cause after this statement no one will buy the thing and everyone will wait for that price drop. When the price drop hit, it will be announced weeks if not days before and it will most likely happen in October or November. Untill then, this are the kind of answers we will get.

They don't need to bundle Nintendo Land with the deluxe version, that way they can lower its price.

but thats what gave the 3DS and DS another selling point.

There is a difference with HandHelds and Home Consoles in that regard. A bundle would do more good for Wii U than a new color.

the fuck sounds like vita.....
i agree with the price cut... $50 is not a lot if you can get a ps4.....im sorry nintendo, but competition is competition

Well that sucks. But he could also be full of it. At the very least they should release a bundle with a game besides Nintendo Land for 350.

While I agree there is some value there (not having to pay to play online, not having to worry about used game policy) - I disagree about the great content coming fast enough. Mario Kart 8 should have been their focus for this holiday, oh well.

I thought for sure that a 399 ps4 would cause them to drop their price to 299.

the price is ALREADY 299

I want some ambassador games :(

LOL, I was hoping for the same!

Whether or not this is true depends on how people feel about mandatory PS+.

If they just see it as an extra cost they don't want to deal with, then the argument makes more sense--especially over time. Free netplay was one key advantage the PS3 had over the 360 once it went down in price. But if people feel that it's enough of a value add, then the Premium WiiU being $50 less than the PS4 won't help much.

Either way, though, the WiiU isn't in a comfortable enough position to keep prices as they are. They should do whatever they can to push sales.
