Never did I think that graphics would make or break this game. And if anyone thought this way they either have no clue what Bayonetta is or there is something wrong with them imo. Look really good, not the best graphics shown on WiiU but it still look great and extremely fun wich is what matters.

All I want is smooth gameplay and a story that is good, epic and long enough.

That would be a problem considering Platinum Games record.

I know :S This is why I've put it on my list because I know it's a possible issue.

"Enough" for what?

Not really, especially with the craziness they did with Metal Gear Rising. But this takes it a lot further. Next gen though? No, not graphics or gameplay. Though, if I do eventually buy a Wii U, this is coming with it.

We havn't had any real "next gen" gameplay since the PS2 era. gameplay hasn't really evolved much since then. all I know is that Bayonetta 2 looks a hell a lot more fun and better looking (artstyle wise) then most announced PS4/Xbone games.

I'd argue the introduction of motion controls with  the Wii was th biggest generational leap in gameplay since the move to 3D with the N64/PS1/Saturn.

Sure we did.  Bayonetta the first had it with it's environment gameplay.  God of War did the something similar.  I'm not saying that "next gen" will actually give newer gameplay options but Bayonetta 2 just takes concepts from Bayonetta 1 and Metal Gear Rising and expands on them.  It's more of an Evolution vs Revolution.

"Next-gen enough" to be what? A good game? It's running at 60 fps - that's the only thing that really matters.

Graphic wise the game looks very clean, no framerate drops, colorful but even better fun. Thank you Platinum games!!

"Next-gen" for Nintendo, sure. "Next-gen" for PS4/One? No.

Anything on a next gen console is a next gen game :P

Apart from rehashes

It's on a next-generation console, so I say yes, it is.
