but we saw no gameplay and thiis game is already so long in development...

True though if it wasn't for the THQ breakdown it would've already been released most probably (or at least several months earlier).

The main summary of this thread:

1. Everyone hated Ubisoft's conference, which I did not watch
2. Mostly positive feedback for Watch_Dogs and The Division
3. Everyone hated the host at Ubisoft's conference
4. I forgot Rayman
5. Did I mention that I didn't watch the conference but I heard the host was awful?
6. Not enough South Park.

No, not everyone, she was pretty decent last year, not so much this one, but hate is too strong of a word - way better for my taste than most of those corporate shills at other conferences with their phony smiles and rehearsed speeches that they can't quite remember.

But yeah, overall, it was pretty boring conference, far cry from last year, and lack of Beyond Good and Evil 2 was yet another massive letdown.

I like your point here about the corporate shills.  It's really obvious which ones seem to actually care about gaming and which ones are just suits who were briefed an hour before the conference about what a game is about.

Yes ... and no. They had the surprise of the show last year with Watch Dogs and did the same thing again this year with The Division. Ubisoft brings the biggest surprises each year now and they are the 3rd party to beat.

That being said, Beyond Good and Evil came out nearly 10 years ago and the sequel was revealed in 2008 (5 years ago!!!). Supposedly it was pushed to this gen to achieve the goals that Ancel wanted. Yet here we are with still NOTHING more revealed.

So, yes, I love Ubi and I hate Ubi.

Nope. I'm over Assassin's Creed, I don't give a shit about a Rabbids TV show, and nice graphics aside, The Division looks like absolutely nothing special. Only Watch Dogs impressed me at all, as it looked a lot more fun than it did last year.

I think the conference was great. Only Ubisoft can create that cozy, pleasant feeling in a show.

And I loved the host, not only because she's hot. Even though it's theater, she acts well and gives the impression that she's genuinly excited for the games. When I watch these Phil Spencers, Don Mattricks, Peter Moores and Jack Trettons I only see a corporate big boss who really doesn't give a shit about games.

Jack Tretton seems like a very sympathetic man though, I like him.

You should post a link so people who did not watch it, can.

good games but it didn't blew me away. It was like "looks cool, probably gonna try it out sometime...." but nothing special at all. Too much AC 4, nobody cares for this.....

Watch Dogs alone is enough.

Yeah I enjoyed their conference. Some parts were boring like when they showed The Crew but some parts were pretty good and the games looked good. Also the lady hosting was entertaining as well.
