LiquorandGunFun said: well M$ is doing a fine job themselves, and it sucks that the "features" are things no one wants. its not something they make up, its how it works. and that's is not appealing. especially parents who buy kids games, usually used as well as a factor, all they see is price. |
MS said they knew they the features might be unpopular but they are trying to force digital down peoples throats. They want to take away game ownership and lock in full licensing and DRM and backpeddled the second the net blew up. Yusuf even admitted that the majority of Xbox prospects who arent on the net are probably ignorant and will buy it in other words. He was interviewed by CNN. I felt like slapping him for saying shit like that. Thats taking advantage of peopl who dont know their rights. Stupid dick.
An article said it best when they pointed out that MS will drag consumers to primary digital media kicking and screaming. Just goes to show how strong their non-gaming aspirations are. Yusuf needs to stop alluding to videogames in the same context as Netflix, because netflix values physical media above digital, its just that they use digital media as the base for all the cheap movies and then reel you in to upgrade by choice if you want the DVD's and Blu Rays of newly released flix.
