I honestly can't blame them for trying to get people to buy a console that will benefit them in the long run. I heard some game stores would not even sell the PSP go when it came out because they would see no revenue from game sales.
As one who is purchasing a PS4 at launch, i would prefer more people to buy the PS4 over the Xbox One.
