Would have to be the original xbox controller, damn I hated that thing so much!

The Original XB controller featured in the OP was so obnoxiously large my little kid hands could barely hold the thing.

Second would most likely be the PS3 SixAxis controller. It's the complete opposite of the Original XB controller in that is way too cramped and the analog sticks annoy me for some reason. (I somehow like the PS2 controller, though.)

I would say the original NES controller. I loved the console, as well as the controller's simplicity, but those sharp edges made long gaming sessions hell. I would say the N64 controller was never uncomfortable to hold, but it has to be one of the worst designed controllers EVER. You had to reposition your hand to make use of the Dpad and L button, but this also left the analog stick and Z button unreachable. And while I have never used it, the original Xbox controller does look like a nightmare to hold.

On the flip side, I do love the Dual Shock.

The Nintendo 64 controller for sure. Followed by the dualshock.


I actually really liked the original fat Xbox controller. Fit perfectly in my hands.

The N64 one. Terrible

 The Dreamcast controller. Alsmost as uncomfortable as Xbox's controller. Not terrible, but still not that good. It's just too damn big.

The Move, when it uses any other buttons then the Trigger and Move button.

Edit: and any kind of sixaxis control, because for some reason it assumes i sit on my couch with a straight back holding the controller leveled.

Unless you lost some skin on your palm you never really played that game!
