Forums - Nintendo - Iwata: More unannounced third party titles will come.

Right. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with indie games, but most of those games will probably be download only and not at retail. And although digital is obviously picking up momentum, I think there's a lot of people (especially on Nintendo systems) that are likely to go for retail releases, since the Wii U hard drive is so limited and they can still trade/trade-in those retail discs with friends and/or stores...

Bah!

As noname said, this will be another Wii situation with 3rd party shovelwares...

Why do you say that? It wasn't the case for the 3DS. Capcom waited for Nintendo to prove the system by its sales before engaging fully in the 3DS with games like RE:R and MH4.

i can't say I totally disagree with that, I really hated some of the stuff that was brought to Wii.

but I am hopeful that the Wii U doesn't end up with that same situation.

Factually correct.

Call it a hunch.

The 3DS doesn't agree with you though. The Wii does I'll grant you that, but the Wii will not happen with the U, the U is following the 3DS pattern so far it seems.

In other words, keep keeping your hopes up while fingers crossed. Be appreciative of the remakes we've already in store for you, & that the upcoming Mario games should suffice.

Well, Just Dance doesn't seem to do well in Sony and Microsoft consoles...
