Forums - Gaming - Nomura wanted to turn Final Fantasy XV into a musical...

lol.. and some want him to lead SE...

I respect him far more than most developers. He wants to make things he's passionate about, and doesn't worry about what will sell.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Opera and musicals lend themselves to the kind of flamboyant characters and melodrama we see in modern FFs. It's an interesting thought.

Oh God. Imagine the opening of Final Fantasy X-2...but it lasting 60 hours.

So it almost became Wii Music.

Nomura reminds me a lot about Miyamoto sometimes...

And if, I find, the world of real emotion has surronded me, and I can't go on, You are there, the moment that I close my eyes, to comfort me
We are connected for all of time :D

You'll never be alone *musical note*

Including they seem to have way way too much power in the companies they work for, which is not a good thing.

Nomura is a genius

Nomura is drunk...I think we know who came up with Atlantica in KH2 now.

Atlantica in KH2 was cool to me.

But Disney song are awesome in french, so that may be different for you.

You seriously never imagined a game or book you played/read as a musical ?

That's a funny exercise

Considering XIII and XIII-2 basically were video game operas (i.e. the only good thing was the music)...I can actually see that working. It's still an absolutely ridiculous idea, obviously, but I can see it being an enjoyable failure.
