I think X will be huge for WiiU. It really shows what the system can do with that scale. I'll say 2 million with great legs and more marketing than Xenoblade

Not expecting a huge hit, but there's always room for surprises. The game seems to be building some hype, and with a little push from Nintendo I could see it doing 1.5m.

Press ain't reviewing it, even if it's the "hardcore Nintendo game" everybody wanted.

Xenoblade got cult status, but was hurt by the fact that NA and EU didn't launch in time. If it has released in 2011 in both territories with some advertising, it would've sold a lot lot more.

Then there's also the issue of FFXV may launch in the same period and eat up sales blah blah blah. And Nintendo is TERRIBAD and promoting niche games. Stocking niche games? Even worse. Fire Emblem could've been the best selling one by now if they didn't have major MAJOR stick issues.

I really wish they promote this. I want them to put a very good marketing budget on this, show it off as what the WiiU is capable of.

Sadly, it's Nintendo and it won't happen. I just hope to god it sells enough to warrant another game by Takahashi, I really do.

Xenoblade didn't even make 1 mil on the Wii and somehow you guys believe X will on Wii U?

Below a million. It's a niche game. The biased media despite being a ''sequel'' to one of the best RPG of all time are barely talking about it cause it's not a mainstream shooter for braindead teenagers.

I'd say around 500k.

Your opinion would carry the same weight without the insults. I do not like the mario series or any platformer whatsoever yet I won't claim that only "brain-dead teenagers" play them.

Why couldn't it? Fire Emblem Awakening has managed to become a million seller (digital+physical sales) despite the series having a long long history of never reaching that milestone. Things can change.

Xenoblade was also poorly stocked, had 0 marketing except for Operation Rainfall, and released at a time of a dead Wii. 

I'm not saying it's going to sell gangbusters, but it'll sell similar numbers to Xenoblade. Ranging of 750k-1.5 million.
