Daylight exclusive to PC and PS4, coming in early 2014

Zombie Studios' Daylight is also coming to the PlayStation 4, new publisher Atlus has announced. In addition, the console release will be exclusive to PS4. To coincide with the announcement, the publisher revealed some of the unique PS4 features we can expect to see from the spooky game when it releases in early 2014.

You'll be able to stream your game to friends on PS4, and it will support RealD 3D. It will also use the PlayStation Eye camera to snap a picture of you just when the game has a particularly potent scare, so you can embarrass yourself by showing friends what your terror-face looks like.

Daylight features procedurally-generated levels to randomize every playthrough, and is written by industry veteran Jessica Chobot, who also provides the voice of the main character. It centers around a woman who regains consciousness in an abandoned hospital with only her cell phone as a light source.

"Since showing off a pre-alpha build of Daylight at PAX East the attention on the project has grown tremendously! With the gained attention, we were approached with the opportunity to partner with Atlus to help release Daylight worldwide on Steam and exclusively to the PlayStation 4 system. Atlus has a long history of great games and is an accomplished publisher with worldwide reach. Working with them will allow us to reach a global audience, so we'll be able to scare even more people."

It is not about the Stallone daylight unfortunately. That would actually be pretty cool as a game :P

i remember that i saw some pics of that game some months ago. i believe it uses unreal engine 4 right?

The music is great, hard to tell what the game going to be like though.

As for the game itself, not a survival horrors fan myself, cause I'm a wuss, but the more games and variety the better!

It has it's scary moments :D

Didn't play the game itself, played the demo and I'm cool, although of course I have my reservations :P We'll see, if it's going to be bad, I'll simply won't use my headphones but speakers instead and things should get better :P
