no,microsoft saved nintendo, because then sony have to do what microsoft do and the only place left where everything is free is nintendo so lots of us will be coming to the wiiu, get ready

Unfortunately I do not think Nintendo is in a position to really benefit from this and that's a real shame.

Take a look at the best selling games on the PS and Xbox brand and you will see plenty of FPS, Sports and driving sims (Forza, GT etc,.).

For the consumers after those genres Nintendo is not the place to come. Most will simply pay the fees.

Now if Nintendo was in a position to pick up the pieces left by online fees and DRM I would buy every share I could.

is the wiiu getting things like NFS rivals,i thought it was getting cod,but i don't play that or driving sims anyway but what i mean is apparently nothing extra will ever cost with nintendo for some reason, but yes maybe not everyone but a fair few might move to WIIU if they don't fancy paywalls/drm,why not, good selling points, get some shares

no dark souls 2 for wiiu :(  according to wiki

Looking at the content they have provided and promised to provided to the Nintendo systems and those they have provided or promised to provide for the other systems, I'd say they have NOT saved Nintendo.

Kind of the reverse. Nintendo's done more for Megaman in two days than Capcom's done for him in the last 4 years.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

It's more of a give and take thing.

"We'll give you Monster Hunter, so plz give Megaman some exposure please"

Im interested in seeing how Capcom will support Wii U. Theyve always been on pretty good terms with Nintendo, developing handheld Zelda titles, Capcom 5+Resident Evil exclusive on GC, strong support for Wii and 3DS. I wouldnt be surprised to see an exclusive Mega Man sometime down the road or Viewtiful Joe return and an exclusive RE spin off.

THIS^

they also had sega and square enix

The Smash Bros deal benefits Capcom far more than Nintendo.Mega Man is a franchise Capcom can't figure out what to do with, and Smash is going to introduce him to 5-15 million gamers, most of whom are not likely to be Mega Man fans. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond ecstatic to see Mega Man in Brawl (I squealed like a little girl), but it's not going to make or break Nintendo.

Hopefully, this partnership will lead to more things. Exclusive Mega Man games will be more of a big deal than Mega Man's inclusion in a game people would have bought either way.

I have never seen Capcom as a big Nintendo supporter. They have helped, but they are not as significant as people make them to be.
