The Smash Bros deal benefits Capcom far more than Nintendo.Mega Man is a franchise Capcom can't figure out what to do with, and Smash is going to introduce him to 5-15 million gamers, most of whom are not likely to be Mega Man fans. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond ecstatic to see Mega Man in Brawl (I squealed like a little girl), but it's not going to make or break Nintendo.
Hopefully, this partnership will lead to more things. Exclusive Mega Man games will be more of a big deal than Mega Man's inclusion in a game people would have bought either way.
