Fuck multiplayer in my 3D platformer.

I stand by what I said, the game looks garbage. The artstyle is garbage, the graphics looks like Mario Party on gamecube, the camera angle is awful, the level design is weak.

Mario Galaxy looks infinitely better, even graphically. I can't believe it is from the same team. They must have got 5% of MG budget.

No no no! Please stop with the "X because I say so!" logic, it get's us nowhere! I'd really like to hear full blown reasoning as to why you feel the graphics, camera, level design, etc., are weak/awful/w.e, that way I can look at that stuff closely when I play the game tomorrow and see how your claims hold up.

The graphis are cheap, it looks like Mario Party. The artstyle is poor, the music and sounds are basics, it looks worse than NSMBU in that aspect.

The camera is way too high when we see above, meaning the game us like 3D Land, it's a small scal game, with levels being very low and very limited as a platformer.

The level design, just watch, it's very easy, simplified, to allow multiples player to pass easily. You can't have technical and awesome level and multiplayers, it's impossible.

Mario Party? Isn't that an N64 game? It certainly looks way better than that lol. I don't really see the problem with the camera. You need it to be high so all 4 players have freedom to move, but it's not too high where it's hard to see things. I also don't see how the camera or multiplayer has much to do with how intricate and complex the levels are. Did you see full playthroughs of it's levels already? If so please elaborate.

And I just said not to use "X because I say so!" logic, yet you keep doing it. You understand the flaw with this logic right? Here I'll show you.

The artstyle is amazing, the music and sound are great, it looks better than NSMBU in that aspect.

See what I did there?

So I can't say the grass is green because you want to see it pink?

The camera angle is terrible, it makes looks like Mario is as tall as the decor (sligh exaggeration) and the multiplayer make sure the design is weak. Imagine Mario galaxy crazy level design, it's absolutely impossible if 4 guys must pass

No, you just have to show that your claims aren't baseless and hollow, that the reverse cannot also be said. Basically, the why. Why is the camera terrible, why is the music bad, and so ons. Also, you're just making assumptions about the level design. We don't know how great or not they'll be, and I believe only the first one is playable. Even if that doesn't impress, it's just the first of many levels which'll likely become more complex as you go on.

If you can't see the shitty graphics, the useless MP mode, the camera angle showing bland levels with nothing interesting in it, the game being reduced to a  slow walk to a flag, then I can nothing for you.

Just open you eyes and tell me where are the platformer parts? There aren't there.

No. It does not look like garbage. Not Wow Factor like Galaxy, but not garbage.

These are the times I call the "After E3 Shock" when everyone gets riled up because they let the hype get to them too much. I was hyped, but I wasn't ridiculous.

Quoted for Truth...

Yep, definitely not garbage but still underwhelming. Bu this is the internet, people like to exaggerate.

I was shown a trailer before someone told me which platform was it and I thought it was for the 3DS....

Nintendo is not serious enough with wii u support. They are losing me.

Did you feel the same when paper mario came out on the N64?

Paper Mario was totally unique, but also I doubt it was pitched as the successor to the higher rated game of all time. You must look at the context when understanding peoples dissapointment. Alongside the above, this is Nintendo's flaship title of 2013. Is it really hard to see why people feel a bit cheated

Nah, I'll most likely be talking about how awesome and fun it is.
