I was excited when my stream was lagging and I thought it was a 3ds game, why o why is this not a 3ds game, this is very disappointing for a flagship console Mario game.
And some quick question.

Isn't that style of gameplay better suited to the 3ds 3d screen as it will be hard to platform on floating boxes and stuff especially now that there are four other players with you? I always thought that is why they stayed away from traditional platforming on 3d mario games.

Also how the hell are you supposed to play four player, are they really expecting people to have four nunchucks? They certainly cannot expect you to play like it is done in NSMBu with the wiimote at the side because the d-pad would cause problems.

Can anybody answer me?

I don't think it'll be much harder than jumping on floating platforms and you will need classic controller pros.

Yeah, the game looks like a huge step back from the Galaxy games. I can't see the Wii U ever recover. Nobody is going to be convinced to buy a new system for these kind of games.

This christmas people will look at his left and see 3D Land + 3DS, and to their right 3D World + Wii U. The only diference, the price.

Good thing it isn't the only game Nintendo revealed, then.

I am actually surprised that so many people are hating on it..from the first moment I saw it just screamed fun to me...It looks like a playground for exploration and I like the vast areas that were absent from galaxy..but I guess to each his own.

I'm disappointed as well, but strange enough, I want to play this with my brother and I think it'd be fun, but I'm still disappointed. This is a complicated feeling.

But, but... it has cats!

But seriously, I don't get all the hate. Game looks about what I expected from a Mario game, even suprised and impressed me with it's 4 playable characters each with unique traits. When I saw that, I was immediately hoping the game would be playable at Best Buy, and wouldn'tcha know it, it is! Can't wait to see what the people who'll play the game (like me!) have to say about it. ^_^

Nothing is vast in this game. It is a straight line with a see above camera. It's a fake 3D game.
