Srry, i dont mean it in a way saying your off with your prediction ( or IamAwesome) cuz everybody is entitled to it! All i was saying that the 8 boxes argument is false as this happened last time with 8 boxes remaining!

So lets break it down. We have a total of 37 (39 technically cuz of Mii's being 3 different movesets) characters in the game. This means its tied with SSBB already! 

We have exactly a month intill japanese get the game, we have a total of 13 characters missing from SSBB, though its safe to say Squirtle+Ivysaur will be cut (sucks cuz thy are completely unique). So 11 characters.

Out of the 11 Ness+Ice Climbers+Wario+Mr G/W look like they are 100% coming in. Each of these characters have been represented in some way in the game with their franchises (Mr G/W was shown off in Pacman trailer, Semi Confirmed?).

R.O.B.+Falco+Jigglypuff+Ganondorf to me seem like they are safe too. All of them for several reasons. That leaves Lucas+Wolf as maybes and the unlikely Snake to return. There is also Mewtwo that can make a return, but thts another discussion. Right there even if its 6  to return (out of the 11) thats half which would total up at 45 characters. We all kno damn well there will be at least 1more newcomer into the game. So thats 46 characters total at least!

Newcomers? Chorus Men (or some Rhythm Heaven representative seems like a guaranteed), anybody's guess from here on out.

My top 5  potential newcomers are... (this is not wat i want, but makes the most sense from a numer of reasons to me)

Chorus Kids + Shulk + Isaac + Dixie Kong(or King K rool) + Bandana Dee......... (Paper Mario now to cuz of the stage!)

This is/was My top 5 personal most wanted after SSB4 was announced (if i were To make the choices)

Geno + Bandana Dee + Saki (deconfirmed) + Mallow + Rosalina (Confirmed!)

Because Capcom is sadly not that 'somebody"!

I don't know how to feel regarding the missing characters from Brawl

why the sad face? We dont have the final roster yet.

But there's going to be some casualties. I don't see them all coming back.

I don't think anyone should expect every character from Brawl to come back for Smash 4!

I think we're lucky so far, back a year ago Sakurai made it seem like we would only have 36-40 characters in the game (currently 39, same as SSBB) and many characters would be cut. Priority was to make a much more balanced game.

Looking at it now it seems as though we'll have at least 1 newcomer and  most of the veterans return. There are 13  missing characters from Brawl. Squirtle+Ivysaur already are practically guaranteed to be cut, that leaves 11. Im sure we'll have 7-9 of them come back in.

Ness+Wario+Ganondorf+Mr G/W+Falco+Ice Climbers+R.O.B+Jigglypuff seem like the very safe veterans to return.

Wolf+Lucas are up in the air and Snake i dont see returning :0
