I am at work so listened to it on my headphones without really getting a chance to view much of the stream. I really couldn't understand a lot of what he said but after every game I kept hearing what I thought to be "2014".

Based on that I would say it was very disappointing. At a time when Nintendo need games to sell consoles consumers must wait yet many more months for the really big system sellers. 2014 could mean December next year.

I see this as far more negative than positive. To be honest I see nothing positive in it.

Hope I am proved wrong.

Now I remember what really annoys me about Nintendo.
They just sit on all these ips that everyone wants.
Metroid 3ds would've sold me on a 3ds tomorrow.

- Mario 3D World. Rewatched it, graphics look solid, but SMG wowed us 6 years ago, this is just not a Wii U Mario game.
- No New IP's! Success of the Wii and DS was built on that, wth?!

Again it's better than what most are saying, but we expected more and we deserve more. I hope there's another ND this summer. Wii U no where near the 3DS right now.

'Mario Kart in 2014' and '3D Mario' were a huge disappointment.

More Donkey Kong Country is great, but we want RETRO to make more "west oriented" games.

I cant see Wii U selling more than 6 million LTD at the end of this year.

I would be embarassed if they hadn't done it. People thought Nintendo may tone down the sexual innuendo's before. Now it's clear they don't obstruct development in any way. IIRC the ND was rated PEGI 18. After seeing this logo parents shouldn't let their kids watch it live.

I thin I understand now why they didn't do a conference. If this is all they had to show the conference would have bombed.

Is there a 3DS direct or something? I want to know about all the games coming to 3DS.

I do still have some hope though. Iwata started the direct by saying is was to "update you on games we will be showing you at E3."

That may just be his wording, but I am holding out that if the game was not going to be at E3, they weren't talking about it in the direct.

We will see...
