Pikachu ain't no worse than any other character with a projectile.

His Down-Smash has a long animation when you get caught in it but in reality it's not worse than Diddy's or Link's Down-Smash both of which can kill a lot earlier than Pikachu's Down-Smash.

His Thunder can be reflected by all characters with counters and it's kinda easy to see coming with the loud "PIKA" he shouts before it comes down.

all he does is spam projectiles then spam down smash. He's just a character made for idiots.

Spamming projectiles is the players fault. Not the characters. Pika's D-smash is also great for building up damage and at low %s is easily followed up. It works great as a spot dodge follow up for a pseudo counter as well due to its range and duration.

pikachu HAS to spam projectiles to be any good. You simply can not play play pikachu without spaming them with the way his move set is. He's a spammy character no matter who plays him, because that's how a good pikachu is played. It's the characters fault, not the players...

Pika uses Thunderjolt to disrupt approaches and prepare his own. Very rarely does he use it for direct damage here. I can pull up more videos if I must.
